The Houston series wasn't the first time I had seen Chitiva play. I saw him during the Apertura and the last Clausura campaign in addition to the Sudamericana campaign. Hasn't he been at Pachuca for years? I remember seeing him during their previous title run(s). Like it or not, Chitiva is a factor even in league play. He's an integral part of Pachuca, the most complete team in the league.
i think you said it yourself, this isn't world rivalries, which is why i ONLY highlighted the part where you said how another massacre like the Pumas - DCU game wouldnt happen unless the "special" circumstances you pointed out happened...yet it happened already with a 5-2 but then again as i have seen in all of the discussions you post in, you just like to argue...and it does get boring after a while, so much that i didnt even bother to read your whole post when it looks like it didnt have anything to do with what i simply pointed out in a short sentence dont be so quick on judging a person's knowledge on the game, the percentage on these boards may be high, but not everyone it's a post-30's fatass who just sits at home and watches soccer on tv and spends their day posting on an internet forum...although judging by what i read around here...it's easy to believe why you would think that lol
******** this Chinese station. They cut to commercials with like a minute and a half left in the first OT. Pachuca even had the ball in the box. I better not have missed a goal, WTF! They did this during the semifinals too (well, worse!). They showed Pachuca-Houston and then at the end of regulation went to a completely different show and didn't show the first overtime. Thankfully someone must have informed them the game was still going on because they came back to the game in the 2nd OT...
Yeah they are showing highlights of UEFA Champions League... ******** that I want to see LIVE CONCACAF Champions Cup!
from the play by play it sounds like a few offsides for chivas and a couple of fouls going back and forth and a yellow for pachuca. damn the chinese,
They deserved it. They should have won 4-2 in the first game but there were two horrible calls. Another horrible call on the saved PK retake. Way to go Pachuca
So I guess Im not the only one who missed out because the chinese cant see when a game is still being played. Which Chivas player missed?
Wow what a game...intense and an incredible speed!....and what a way to shoot those penalty kicks, and a couple of young players stepping up.... Congrats to Pachuca!
NO, one bad call. And their was a bad call on chivas today agianst pachuca. Pachuca couldnt break chivas defense, medina gave pachuca the win by missing the pk. Sucks but as long as its a mexican team going to japan im glad . Viva mexico
Very intense game, Chivas showed a great organized defense which managed to upset all the great attacking plays orchestrated by Andres Chitiva(man of the match by the foxsports commentator), Landin, Gimenez, Caballero, etc., Also a great game by Calero making crucial saves, and a dissapointing game by Bofo and Bravo(too many offsides) from the Chivas attack. In the end Pachuca deserved it more, they showed more heart and a more attractive football throughout the whole tournament. Watchout Conmebol and Uefa, I think Concacaf can really cause an upset in tokyo this year. Congratulations PACHUCA, WINNERS OF THE 2007 CONCACAF CHAMPIONS CUP!!!
