I never understood why Juventus was relegated but Milan, Lazio and Fiorentina just got their points deducted. It didn't seem fair then or not. Milan, despite their deduction in points won the Champions League that year so I doubt their lost points in the standings really hurt them all that much...

It is like the conspiracy against Trump today. It was to take down Juve. That is why I want them to win the scudetto 10 years in a row. I could care less what that does to Serie A. They need to pay for what they did to Juve.

Yeah if anything calciopoli made Juve stronger and the Serie A weaker. Maybe not initially but since 2011....

Juventus never really hit rock bottom. I mean other than the 2 years from 2009-to 2011 where they finsihed 7th, their seasons were pretty positive. Even after the Serie B....The aging and/or retirement of Delpiero , Camoranesi Nedved and Trezeguet I'm sure hurt them. I remember the 2009-2010 season where they had many injuries as well...

Ranieri & the 3 stooges running the operation started a loser mentality. Ranieri always held back. He should have gone for the jugular that first season. At least that dark period is gone.

Aside from Ranieri, Ciro Ferrara, despite his great playing career was clearly unprepared to coach a big club. Same went for Gigi DelNeri who was in over his head at Juve.

Luca Palamara, one of the magistrates who heavily investigated Juve during the Calciopoli farce back in 2006, was suspended today for having committed serious and repeated violations of the code of ethics, including an accusation of corruption.

I would have been shocked if he and the whole lot of them weren't corrupt.
