Twelve new teams are supposed to enter the League. Is there another eastern Canadian team? What about Connecticut? who knows?

I don't know about a 12 new teams in the league next year. That would be a giant jump for the league. I am sure we will hear more in the coming weeks. Especially with the demise of the WUSA there is a larger pool of players to choose from. But we have to remember the W-League is also competing with the WPSL, who moved their presence to the East Coast last year.

New teams that are officially known for 2004:

    West Michigan Edge ( www.edgesoccer.com )
    Detroit Jaguars ( www.detroitjaguars.com )
    Edmonton Aviators
    Western Mass
    Richmond
    Sudbury
