Valencia is no walkover for Atalanta, but I like their chances better than Napoli's. Esp now that Carlo is gone.

We got about as good a draw as we could have.

City, Pool and Bayern are the only Big club group winners that should have trouble with their draws. Valencia v Atalanta is a very balanced tie and Leipzig will prolly be underdogs to Spurs.

Yes definitely. I think Atalanta can go through, but must not underestimate Valencia. I have seen Valencia play and they are a very fun team to watch with a lot of heart, and so are Atalanta actually. It's going to be a really fun game. I hope Atalanta makes it.

Napoli is all but out. Without Ancelotti, and even if Carlo was still manager, Barcelona is probably the strongest team on paper, if not the strongest team in the Champions League. I hope Napoli proves me wrong, but I would bet a lot of money on Barcelona advancing.

If Atalanta go through, how much money will they get exactly?

No clue, it's dependent on who else from Italy goes through.

Why is it the other clubs who determine that? I thought it was TV revenue?

It's far more than just tv revenue, each league also gets x amount for advancing, so if there's less Italian teams, there's more money for the one that goes through.

Must have been mistaken. For some reason, I always thought the bulk of the CL revenue was from sponsorship and TV money that teams receive.

Mou is THE most overrated coach. Media and fans just love characters and thats why he's around. Otherwise he really didnt do much since leaving Inter. He has always spent a lot of money too, lets see if he can redeem himself with Spurs

Do the Spurs shop for cabinets at the same place as Roma?

I hope Atalanta advances so Inter can see what its like for a team in Blue and Black to play with heart in champions league in their own stadium LOL

I thought that they were saving the Lyon selection for an EPL team just to keep the English TV revenue flowing. Great Luck for Juve

Once Lyon was drawn, the only team left in the pot for us was Tottenham, that got the next draw. Napoli could not be a selection for us. I was expecting the Spurs at that point.

Pep Guardiola is also overrated. Tell me the last time that Pep won against a team that he was not strong favorites against.

I agree although I pick Atletico Madrid over Liverpool. I think Atletico are going to be extremely tough for Liverpool to face because they are the exact type of team to cause Liverpool many problems, and plus they are a world class team and experts at their playstyle. If Liverpool couldn't beat Napoli at all this season, I have a hard time seeing how they are going to beat a much stronger Atletico side that plays the same way and is much better at it, especially over 2 legs. With the first leg being in Spain, Atletico will do well to avoid conceding and score 1-2 goals.

Also remember that Atletico always underperform in the group stage. Once the knockouts come, they are near impossible to beat.

Replace Pep's name with Allegri, and it works the same.
