Steffen with a good save on Reus about 9 minutes in. Looks like it's setting up as expected: Dortmund with lots of possession and pressure, but Duesseldorf look potentially dangerous on the break.

Steffen spilled a cross he should have had, but his defense bails him out and clears it. Still 0-0.

Reus is able to walk in all alone after some good build up by Dortmund and tucks it into the bottom corner. 1-0 Dortmund. No real chance for Steffen.

Steffen with a good save on a long-range rocket by Zagadou right at the start of the 2nd half.

Now Hazard walks in on a semi breakaway and puts it inside the far post. No chance for Steffen. 2-0 to Dortmund. Maybe closer to the right scoreline for a Reyna debut?

Duesseldorf's defense is in shambles at this point. Sancho with an easy finish from 8 yards out. Again, no chance for Steffen. 3-0.

Hate to see Steffen concede 3 (even if he didn't have a chance on any of them), but on the bright side, a blowout like this might be a good opportunity to give Reyna some minutes.

Dusseldorf looks stagnant and being totally dominated. Don't see much from Morales or anyone else on Dusseldorf for that matter.

*whispers* if sancho grabs another it would be a nice time to sub him and a comfortable lead to give a kid his debut

Trying not be too biased, but I think it could make sense to take off Reus for Reyna. Save Reus's legs and give Reyna a debut in a game that's comfortably in hand.

Ugh...another tap in. Has to be frustrating for Steffen. His defense has just totally given up. They had maybe 5 guys back and 2 Dortmund attackers just slice right through.

There's no reason not to give a player a debut here, and not just a cameo either. Not sure what subbing in Gotze does here. And you can make more than 1.

Steffen's anticipation needs to be better if he wants to be the type of keeper who can almost single-handedly keep teams in games. A lot to ask, but we've been accustomed to that sort. Obviously he's not Van Der Sar or Campos w/ his feet.

Looks like I can stop watching this one.

Gotta say, Favre hasn't really done a lot to endear himself to us over the years.
