Leg 1: April 24 (Estadio Corona) Leg 2: May 1 (Estadio Tecnológico) Who will represent CONCACAF at Morocco 2013?
Well, there aren't any MLS teams here, so we can count on Herculez not scoring. Monterrey, 3-2 on aggregate.
Not feeling Santos this year, the CCL is going back to Monterrey (and the rayado fans will finally get to celebrate the conclusion of a final series at home.) Do think Monterrey has to make some changes however for their trip to Morocco in December.
At least the CWC games will be on at a more reasonable hour in the afternoon. However, there was a charm to the early morning CWC games of years past, where the Mt fans got a twitter hashtag to trend that was about their overnight party waiting to see their team play in the CWC.
Well not CCL, but in Liga MX in a "warm up game" for the CCL final, Santos beat Montbuey 1 - 0 @ Torreon.
Very entertaining game so far, very technical, tactically and intense; just like a "liguilla" game. Big difference in the intensity from both teams compared to previous CCL games. Monterrey will take this cup again, Santos is not defensively good enough to hold Monterrey's attack.
I've got a lot of respect for both of these teams, but I see Monterrey taking it to Santos in the second leg. 3-1 Monterrey defends the title.

Good prep work for the Main Event tonight. So far on the undercard, Bayern wins, TFC-Mtl up next, then Corinthians before the main course.
Still 0 - 0 http://concacafchampions.datafactor...p?torneo=ligacampeonesconcacaf&idFicha=150502 I guess they have a new tool to follow the game, better than what they had before.
Estrada crossed in to Quintero near post; Q laid it off/deflected it back out to Lugo on the edge of the box. Lugo appeared to have a good shot to the left but sent it back to an open Quintero on the right for a short shot.
