But...

1. That is a pretty bad play when the score is tied or you are down by a goal. But Chelsea was down by 2 and looking pretty hopeless. It was a ...

As I write this, he has an amazing (that might not do it justice) assist. "Lumpy" isn't going to bench him or something for that. That is so 3 or 4 weeks ago.

2. Kovacic was a vegetable in terms of marking. No attempt to cover van de Beek, who had a very easy shot. If there's a goat here, it's Kovacic.

I don't know if I got all of this right.

But Blind elbowed Puli as he was going past him, ref played it on, somehow the ball finds Tammy who shoots into the box, and I think hits Veltman in the arm.

Upside? Blind earns a 2nd yellow, as does Veltman, and now chelseahave a PK

 

2 players off plus a pk in one sequence? You think that is generous?

 

It's an awful penalty. His hands were by his sides. For it to be a PK, he needed to move his arm away from his body
