yeah they played the whole knochout stages without leaving the country once..... Interesting little note there. I wonder when was the last time that happened.
Definitely the first time here in CONCACAF - before the CCL era, there wouldn't have been enough Mexican teams in the tournament to pull it off.
Monterrey is playing Santos again in the FMF final. Looks like these 2 teams are the best in Concacaf.....Looks like another campeonato for Monterrey and another subcampeonato for Cruz Azul 2.0 jk Santos can totally beat Monterrey........maybe
Someday, I'd love to see it come back as a "Europa Cup" to the CCL's UEFA CL. Yeah, that's probably a ways away, but a guy can dream can't he?
