What the hell are you talking about? This should be on a different forum. This isnt HS and ODP its youth national teams. If they wanted the forums to be YOUTH DEVELOPMENT IN AMERICA then they would've named it that.

Forums are for the users and frankly, these additional threads flow naturally from the subject. On the senior NT boards, people start threads about non-NT players regarding their future potential with the NT. Can we not do the same in YNT?

It's a nice addition to the "hard content" of YNT. It's a low-traffic board so it's not crowding anything out. What's the problem? Why does it bother you so much?

Thank you Mr. Forum Stickler Nerd.

What, are the six new threads a month in this forum causing chaos? Don't have room for any that don't impeccably correspond with the forum name?

Good lord in one of the vids he cracks a shot like an 18 yr old. Any word if he has dual citizenship for Spain ?He is definitely better than all the 10yr olds in the states. I hate to be a downer but I hope Spain doesn't come in and snatch him away. I'm making assumptions, he's 10, I know, (inhales, exhales etc) but yeah.:D

Silly hyperbole! Also, yeah, as you state, you are making assumptions and he is only 10 y/o.

Technically, he probably is better than most 10 year olds in the states. It's always going to be that way until we push for more of a soccer culture in this country - which means more kids playing pickup soccer in the streets instead of football or baseball

Baseball is not a problem in that regards. All MLB's players are actually coming from abroad now;). What we need are those basketball players. the 5'7-6'1 PG's that will never make it because they are too short.

I was watching the GS Warriors a couple days ago and noticed Monta' Ellis & Stephen Curry & thought these are the type of athletes that could really excel in soccer(obviously they don't have the required skill) both are Thierry Henry calibre athletes. 6'-6'2 w/ blazing speed, agility & Monta' Ellis has crazy hops. If we could have a player w/ that athleticism & combine that with otherwordly technical skills we have our first Fifa world player of the year!:D

Uhh, the otherworldly technical skills part is the sticking point. We've yet to produce one player with otherworldly technical skills, let alone one who also has amazing athleticism.

no we haven't but we are makimng progress:

Renken, LLeget, and Gil could become the first elite US players with world class technical skills, and possibly Greg Graza could become our first world class defender.

Soccer is growing in the US, we have some many more kids taking up soccer it's only a matter of time. Our problem is logistics and infrastructure, but I believe Europe recognizes this and more and more young players are being scouted. It would just be nicer if they could develop in the States verses going over seas

Parents are from Spain (Catalan region). I'm pretty sure Enric was born in the U.S.
