They probably are already booked, but it would be great advertisement of their upcoming Columbus opening if they could come!
I actually did go to the Houston game earlier this year as well. I forget what was happening at the time STC wise, but it must have been pretty positive for me to go to the game. I think that was Meram's first home game back with the club. A home playoff KO round game is in doubt now, so I think the full team will play v Minnesota.
You came back for Mascot Soccer. Admit it. Edit: Those that watch things like Slack and FB groups, any mention of doing candy for the kids at this tailgate like last year?
Not sure which thread this needs to be in. MOD EDIT: I moved it here. With amazing news they #SaveDthecrew it’s time to announce we are coming back Oct 28th to play in a Legends game at Ohio History Connection (800 E. 17th Ave.Columbus, OH) at 11am & having a fan hangout after the game before we walk together to watch @ColumbusCrewSC after 🙌🏻 pic.twitter.com/BPPqsdE7MF— Over Under Initiative (@OverUnderPlay) October 14, 2018
Tears, man, tears. I learned afterwards that people on Twitter had a heads up. It was a complete shock to me and my troupe. What a moment. Glad you got to experience it.
What are the rules regarding grills and stuff? My brother and myself may come to this megagate and grill some burgers and dogs on our Weber. Complete with nametags.
Party Planning Committee has been busy this morning. Translation, I woke up to 39 texts from @Draghignazzo and @Ch(Elsey) We will post some more info as we go and figure out who can bring some things. Grills WILL be needed but let's hold off on committing to anything yet.
I just want to add that this tailgate intends to be a highly inclusive gathering for everyone who posted or lurked throughout this last year. As you may have already surmised, I am a very inclusive rather than exclusive person. This tailgate will reflect that principle. Also, I know all about crossing comfort zones and driving into the tailgate area. Even after nearly 15 years of tailgating with a Crew supporters group, I still get highly nervous on approach. Tim says I am silly. Also, thanks to the party planning texts, I have already had enough human interaction to last me all day. Not sure what to tell the kids I am coaching this afternoon. So the takeaway... Everyone. Is. Welcome.
