Reus is going to murder Hakimi after that. What a stupid play.

Hakimi has had a MOTM game.

PS: Well, except for that one.

Great attacking play down the left side.

Hakimi brilliant defense. Unfortunately, it's in the offensive box, as he takes Reus off the ball inside of 12 yards while preparing to shoot. Wow.

    What in the world

That's a Pulisic goal once Reus cuts it back

Watching the narration in Unimas. They just remarked how everything in Dortmund seems to go through the side where Pulisic isn't. It's a valid observation, our boy often looks like an afterthought to the rest of them.

Puli has to go look for the ball and move all the way to the left. Which is good for him, at least he got a touch. The problem is the right side is left wide open. Atletico is going to take their chance on that side at some point.

Dortmund in general just don't seem great at switching flanks quickly.

dortmund seem better at running into each other and creating offense by accident tbh

Hakimi atones for his error, gets assist #2, goal for Guerreiro.

    Pretty goal.

Hakimi has been magnificent. That probably means people in these threads are going to start hating on him. :D

Pulisic, on his left again, blasts roughly a mile high and wide.

Great play from midfield - Pulisic nice technical play twice to Witsel, great lead through ball to Hakimi, clean rolled cross into the path of Guerreiro. Calm finish to space between keeper and far post. Great goal.

That was the soccer equivalent of the basketball heat-check 3-pointer that airballs.

Hey, everyone, look! It's Diego Costa being an asshole! That's out of character.

Nobody is talking about it, but I think the big diff between Puli and the likes of Sancho and Larsen and even Dembele is the defensive shift Pulisic puts in. His defensive positioning is quite good, no wonder they have used him as a pseudo-wingback at times.

These three points are far from safe - Burki barely pushes a shot to the post.
