The sub was to get an ovation from the crowd which would have been lost if it was a halftime sub. In fact, all of Al-Wehda's starting midfield is not currently on the team, with 3 former Al-Wehda players and an Egyptian guest player (Mohamed Aboutrika).

Re: Donovan:FC Hollywood vs Al-Wehda 11:30 AM CST HT 2-0 FCB. Decent half for der Mannschaft. I thought Oddo and Ribery were the best FCB players on the field. Toni looked rusty although he got himself into position to score a bunch of times. Klose was invisible and Altintop was all over the pitch, but he kept making some bad decisions (with his passes) and he had a horrific attempt on goal. Lucio was the worst on the pitch by far for me. He just seemed like he did not want to be out there and there were about three chances for AW the could have been his fault.
