Did you go to the game?

This should be a cake-walk, and I hope some of our fringe guys have a bonzer night. I'll be ecstatic with a 1-0 win where zero starters play.

These games are never cakewalks. For the lower league team it's their Super Bowl and the effort they put out is immense. If FCD uses a lot of their younger players they may struggle against physically older, bigger and stronger players who while maybe not as technically talented are more veteran savvy. The lower league players are also trying to be seen so they can move up to MLS.

Yeah, there's really nothing left to say. He's not good enough.

This was really his big chance. He did not take it.

Mauro Diaz and Tesho Akindele and Michael Barrios changed the game, though.

Craft and Pomykal and Cannon looked good, too. So did Cermeno in his sub role. Maybe Craft can take Colman's spot in the sub rotation.

Now that I think about it, that Cermeno/Diaz midfield looked really promising.

Seitz looked rusty, but he made some good saves. The blue-collar workers Ulloa, Hedges, Hume, and all the rest put in a good shift tonight. The boys gelled when they needed to. Good win, no injuries, lots of minutes for the bench guys, a chance to blood some of the newbies, and a goal for one of the kids. Overall a good game.

Yep not much to say. Colman had a full 90 to prove his worth against an inferior opponent. I still want to believe the guy can turn it around but damn he blows every chance he gets. The only positive thing he contributed was drawing a few fouls near the 18.

Well that actually went better than usual as it usually goes into extra time and then penalties. Hedges was the only starter that started and then Barrios and Tesho came on. Diaz will soon be a starter but was noticeably rusty. Colman is a bit to see how many ways a guy can miss like that keeper video on youtube that gets hit in the face on every shot. I would give the guy more of a chance if he busted his ass but he just wanders around with no passion at all. Stick a fork in him and give his minutes to Tesho, Craft heck I bet Reynolds at 15 or 16 is better.
