Well if australia doesn't get through at least we'll have an excuse to fire that useless coach ange posta-whatever his name is.
Saturday 11 February 2006 Australia’s first foray into Asia has ended in disappointment with the Qantas Joeys (Under 17’s) finishing second in its qualifying group and missing out on a place in the Asian Under 17 Championships later this year. In the groups final match, host nation Laos defeated Indonesia 5-0 and go ahead of Australia on goal difference after both teams finished level on 4 points. Australia only managed to beat Indonesia 3-1 on Thursday night after drawing 0-0 with Laos on Tuesday. Laos, spurred on by a capacity crowd, led 3-0 at half time and proved to good for a dispirited Indonesia, who chances went with defeat to Australia. Laos is the last team to qualify for the AFC Under 17 Championships to be held in Singapore next September. http://www.footballaustralia.com.au/public/article/show.asp?articleid=9850&menuItemID=

Paseutsack Souliyavong doubled the advantage on 26 minutes before Bounpone Khensisana made it 3-0 in the 35th minute. Khensisana scored his second goal and Laos’ fourth on the hour mark and Syvilay netted his brace six minutes later to clinch qualification for Laos.
