these articles are getting old... handed a 2nd chance when he wants to leave.. http://www.sunderlandecho.com/sport...land-sweet-on-juventus-quagliarella-1-5943622
But it's SUCH a PRIVILEGE to get to play in the premier league! Even if it is on the team that's been in the relegation scraps for the past couple seasons.
Sunderland are seeking 8m+ according to RokerReport writer/blogger. 5m is the general rumor.... Either way, with only 1 yr left on his contract.. the possibility of Ji leaving Sunderland still stands. Or, they offer him contract extension if they value him so much..

And Ji's price has risen again for being injured =/ 9 mil Euro for a guy with 1 yr left on his contract. http://www.augsburger-allgemeine.de/augsburg/sport/Haben-Fuenfjahresplan-id26628486.html
At least Fletcher appears to be coming back healthy and PDC has been rumored to be in the market for a cheaper striker. I assume the latter would be backup if Fletcher can't go and allow Ji to leave.
I don't remember JDW's old number at sunderland but he's 27 this season. http://www.safc.com/news/club-news/2013/august/squad-numbers-revealed EDIT: A quick search reveals that he was 17 last time at sunderland and 27 at augsburg. Whats the source of 7s for KPAs? 27 for LCY, 7 for SHM, 17 for Ki off the top of my head....
I expect him to start this Saturday ahead of Sessegnon as the support striker/CAM role behind Jozy Altidore
LCY chose 27 because that was his number at FC Seoul. Not sure of Ki and Son. Maybe they were given several options, but chose the lowest? Who knows.
I thought it may be because of PJS or something. Ki hasn't been 16 for a while. He was 24 last year. I assumed it was 17+7 and now he's 17 (17 having been used by Shechter).
