Also left. There are clubs which have stronger right leaning fan bases (e.g. 1860 Munich, Dynamo Dresden, parts of BVB), but to me it seems right wing fans tend to be seldom organized as Ultras, less public and more about subverting the common fans. Historically the whole Ultras movement in German fan scene started as push against commercialization in German football back in the 1990s which always has been seen as a primarily leftist position. Prior to that German football had a big problem with right wing fans and hooligans. Ironically the Italian Ultras were and are still seen as exemplar so it's sad to see to where those headed since.
https://streamable.com/j13l0 45' TOOOOOOOOOOOOR für den #FCA. #Koo bringt uns vor der Pause wieder zurück ins Spiel. WICHTIG! #fcasvw pic.twitter.com/zUQpf3VK4U— FC Augsburg (@FCAugsburg) September 22, 2018
Yes, he got subbed off because of an injury. Apparently he had missed some 100% as well. So, despite a wonderful goal, not a great day for Koo. Btw Giefer is so bad that CHW would be a starter if he was in Augsburg regardless of language problems.
He could be back by next weekend and I wonder if Koo would miss next match if it weren't Bayern. Koo was very good beyond what he did in the box. He did have that miss which wasn't a 100% like Sakho's miss this weekend. Its the kind that Koo normally scores on though (first time on a hard low cross).
Didn't watch the game. Just saw some FCA fans saying that Koo should've scored. Glad to hear the last part.
Koo started. CM for much though he did get involved up front at times. Less bad than other games. Ji's back in partial training. With Caiuby getting hurt, hopefully Ji's close to a return.
https://m.augsburger-allgemeine.de/...on-Nationalmannschaft-zurueck-id52743521.html FCA coach is not happy about Koo returning with an injury. Apparently Koo wanted to retire, but was forced to go to the NT (which maybe explains his passionless performances recently).
He's been debating over retirement for a while like Ki has, but the itch keeps pulling him back, otherwise we would've seen a retirement ceremony by now. If Koo really wanted to/wants to retire, then he shouldn't stall whilst having his body express it.
Koo can retire after the Asian cup only because of freq injuries. But i want ksy to try make himself available for the next wc. He will be 33 which is not that old. There are plenty or players who played for their nt at that age. I would only call up ksy in the WC. And during tough times in qualifiers. I dont get why we are all saying good bye to ki after January. He will only be 30.
We all want it, but Ki has hinted so many times that he wants to retire early. It's up to him but something tells me that it's part of a deal with Bento that Ki is still participating until the Asian Cup is over. Which also explains HIB's strong involvement so early and testing Kim Jung Min as well. I know I shouldn't read too much into it, but I really think Ki will retire after the Asian Cup.
It's more on his knee than anything else, he has one more WC left before retirement, but how long can it hold up I worry.
Koo hasnt been that good in a long time anyway for the nt. Always liked him but it always just ends in an injury. Focus and give back to Augsburg instead now.
