I've read that the whole team played really bad. The fans believe they'll get relegated under Schuster.

Oh well. Augsburg is having a good season but still a large gap in quality to better teams.

It's rather a miracle that they survive every season. They have a great team chemistry but are not that good quality wise.

Fighting goes a long way (and why koo has been a good fit there) and having a good GK helps.

I also think they have a good keeper in Hitz, but he will leave next season. They better get a proper replacement.

I dunno. He always makes enough mistakes that the big guys have to have some concerns. He's been good for a while so would have thought he'd be gone if there was great demand.

They wanted to extend but he didn't. Then, instead of selling him they decided to go another season with him (which apparently was the right decision). He was almost at Stuttgart before they got Zieler instead. He's also high on Frankfurt's list to replace Hradecky if he leaves.

Given the current form of Kwon, he should start for KNT at WC.

I think Kwon should start especially he's the better player we have. I also trust in his recover compared to other players like Suk or Hwang. If I had to come up with a starting line up it'll be:
    Son-Kwon
    LJS-DM-Ki-Koo.
But I doubt STY tactics anyway so there's no point in contemplating.

What's the basis of your affirmation ? Sure he has an huge talent and some potential but he's not better than Ki, Son or even Koo. Atm, Koo is in better form, has more international experience, more physical impact, a better defensive work and more depth and stamina.
I would rank Kwon in the same category than LJS but European league experience and young age speak for Kwon.

edit : Forgot to say that Ki, Son and Koo's shooting are way better than Kwon's one (even if his shooting are not bad either)

Better player, not the best player. He's one of the better player.

lol, should have said "one of the better player" since the beginning, I'm not used of English language subtlety/nuance.
That said, among our players, he's one of the better but If we want a true striker up front, we should "abandon" one of our best midfielder.

edit : I can't get used with the expression "one of the better" either, I always use of "one the best" (because in my native language using "better" in that context has no sense at all, lmao)

Considering Hwang and Suk haven't been doing too hot lately, I wouldn't mind having Kwon playing up front with Son. Kwon is a good goal scorer and have decent speed.
