Thats true, but for some reason regardless i think Mesa doesn't rate the Turkish league that highly lol. He did really well last season too but still no senior debut. I'd start them both up front looking at it now lol 4-4-2 style
Bego Vrsajevic Dumic Zukanovic Kolasinac Pjanic Medunjanin Visca Milicevic Bajic Djuric Against Greece, switch to a 4-3-3. Pjanic, Besic, Medunjanin. Milicevic and Visca on the wings. Dzeko upfront.
Against Gibralar the kids need to be given a chance. Krunic, Milicevic, Bajic, and Cimirot need to be in the starting line up.
My only guess is half of those kids (18-20) are getting married early and starting families n shit cuz there is nothing to do over there so naturally it gets in the way of their football lol
The biggest issue is they think they've made it before they actually make it. The overwhelming majority of these kids come from very poor and uneducated backgrounds. So they have a couple good games, media starts to hype them up, vultures start to encircle them feeding the ego, and everyone starts to act like their agent, giving advice. So with the better performances, they get a new contract. So now they have some spare change in their pocket, much more than their envious peers. They start to go out, flash it around, buy some designer goods, think they're rocks stars and people continue to feed their ego. Next, families sees dollar signs and get a new manager who promises the world to them. They tell the player to demand a new contract, gifts, bribes, etc. When clubs don't pay, they try to force a move, tell the player to refuse to attend training(the worst advice for a young player). So he misses weeks or months of training and games, eventually he gets a transfer abroad, most likely to some sub par central european club, but hey, more money and better training facilities. But now, the player has missed so many practices and matches that he's behind his peers and is unable to break into the team. Now he's sitting on the bench, and no one around to stroke that ego anymore. What do they do, stay and fight or go somewhere else? Many chose the latter, going to a new place and starting all over again. The process continues opportunities abroad eventually dry out and the player finally packs their bags and heads home trying to relive the glory days. But now they've missed out on some much that they never reach their once potential, instead stagnate and settle for reality. Of course there are many other factors, lack of good coaching and facilities in the domestic league contribute a lot to players failing.
Well said man. Wasn't expecting a detailed response but good read non the less, i just hope one day they can look at the senior players and realize they don't have egos etc.
Mesa rejected a managerial position at French club SC Bastia http://reprezentacija.ba/64322-mesa-bazdarevic-odbio-ponudu-francuskog-prvoligasa
Mesa says we can play without Spahic for the next two match, also without several other key players. http://sportsport.ba/bh_fudbal/bazdarevic-mozemo-bez-spahica-u-dva-naredna-susreta/227552
According to Dinamo, both Gojak and Hodzic called up https://m.facebook.com/dinamo/photo...9691582138/1462894477117646/?type=3&source=54
Rijad Bajic got called up as well: http://reprezentacija.ba/64439-riad-bajic-na-spisku-bazdarevica-konya-cestitala-na-bosanskom-jeziku
Mesa said he would call up players who are suspended as well, so Dzeko will be included on the roster for the friendly. I wonder if he will drop Djuric. There is not need for 5 centre-forwards to be called up.
Well he could call up Dzeko, Hodzic, Ibisevic, Bajic and Djuric. Have Djuric instead of Dzeko in the squad vs Gibraltar, and then when its time for Albania friendly just have Ibisevic drop out or something.
Mesa said he isn't calling up Besic and Medunjanin apparently. I saw it on facebook scrolled past it never clicked the article so don't know how reliable.
I saw the other day Mesa said something positive about Cimirot, could see him take Medo's play in the remaining qualifiers if he stays healthy.
