Got some sand in it you think? Wembley may have had some on it to cover the patches in the turf maybe?

I finally just watched part of the FA cup final.. only from about 80minutes to the finish. What a classy 1-2 with Drogba and Lampy, and finish by Drogba. Cute little touch past VDS. He really is a great finisher... [obligatory chelsea bash] as well as a great diver, and he is great at being ugly. Hate that... ah well! Like everyone has said countless times, the premiership title is the best!

Sadly though, most of the true Latic fans are displaced. And unlike Arsenal we've only been in league football since 1978; unlike Arsenal we were elected and didn't pay anyone off.

As much as I am NOT a fan of the Arseholes, they are NONE of those things.

    Re: 2007/08 Club Jerseys [2]

I feel I should explain myself.

    Shit club
    I don't like them. I am entitled to my opinion aren't I?

    Shit fans
12,181 people turn up for a League Cup semi-final. That isn't even half full. Don't even give me the TV excuse because you got more people in for the League match between us, we had the same amount of fans, and that match was also on TV.

    Shit ground
The lovely JJB stadium. No atmosphere, cold, crap food...and don't try saying I don't know what i'm on about as I've been there on two occasions. The only stadium worse than it up north is Ewood Park.

    Shit sponsor
Have you ever been to JJB? Once you have you will understand this statement and ask any UK-based poster on this forum what they think of JJB - the answer will be the same.

And what about Arsenal. "Shit club" - hmmm, most successful London club in history, first London team to reach a Champions' League final, only London team to win three Championships in a row. Shit club? If you like.

"Shit fans". Funny how everyone says our fans are quiet, but we outsing your lot every time we are at your gaff. Your lot only shout when there's no pies left.

"Shit ground". Hmm, almost 2 million people through the turnstiles this season says otherwise. Some people seem to like it! I would add that it won "best new structure of the year" but that's just nerdy.

"Shit sponsor". The world's richest airline. Don't really care for that too much though.

Don't get me started on the argument I had with Blackburn's fans at the Emirates...they tried saying our fans were fatter than theirs. Sledging at football has really gone downhill recently...

Few issues here, damarc, IF you have to double post, don't take 5 mins between them, it makes it seem u spent waaaaay too long searching the web to find the year you started in the league...

Secondly, I like Wigan FC, I really do. I have no idea why, guess bringing Jimmy B to the prem, the empathy we all felt when Crespo cheatski'd them in their first game, how they played footy at it's simplest yet managed to avoid cheatski wandering it...also I loved the old Wigan rugby league team of the 90's (Robinson & Offiah) so mebe that helped....

Gooners, for all their many, MANY flaws, are not shit fans. Tho it was funny to see them lose interest in football when they got knocked out of everything with 6 odd weeks left, but hey!

I only know trim goon fans, mostly coz they all have to stay in shape running from the law mind.....

And as for sponsors, well few footy teams have a label to be proud of nowadays, buy gaygaybee sports, about as low as it gets!

I worked out why we were so crap this season. The whole Premiership had a supply of this:

who do you reckon the goons will sign this summer? doesnt seem to be any mention of anyone linked with them except a tentative link to bale, which may i add i hope either you or manure get, cos i sure as hell dont want my beloved yidos to get him.

We've got a new keeper in firstly, an international keeper who is quite young so we can mould him. I would expect us to sign another midfielder and a goal-poaching striker, but it wouldn't surprise me if that was our only signing of the summer.

Dunno, Real Madrid do pretty well, took Owen for a year, he scored em a decent amount, saved some face for a poor season otherwise but they realised he was passed it and mugged Newcastle for mad cheddar!

Retrubution for lumbering them with Woodgate the year b4!
