Forgot Atletico were missing their FBs and Partey vs Juve. Not to mention Costa even if he is not having a good season. Probably played a big role.

Yeah, I was posting in the season thread encouraging people to watch this game. Great game regardless of result, but a very nice result for us.

Now we need to not squander it.

Great chance to basically put La Liga to rest. Theoretically.

How come I'm more pissed with city robbing Swansea than being happy Atletico losing? [emoji33]

Because being pissed is in your blood :ROFLMAO:

You should meditate ... or get some head to get the anger out. I'd go for the 2nd option.

    Hahaha good observation Einstein.. [emoji23]

If you'd only seen Swansea City you'd feel the same.

You didn't watch the game, alluded that they played good ... against an 18th place team at home. Just an excuse to be negative. That's the reason.

I simply looked for their score and read a few reviews suggesting they were a bit nervous at the back but relentless in attack , fans happy ... so I posted that they’d “supposedly” attacked relentlessly and won - what on earth is wrong with that ??

IF we beat Beria at their place double digit leads of 10 & 12 points w 10 games left. Betis is in 8th but their Liga goal differential is only -1.

No pressure but getting 3 points now before CL quarters start will be big in terms of allowing more rotation in Liga in the thick of CL

I guess their biggest opponents are English teams after all. All of them.

They do on occasion plus pretty sure they’ve got the best or close to having the best record against top 6 teams this season ..

Ugh! Forgot that Alteti’s non-showing this week also cost Barca a chance to get the cup back soon. Now we have to wait until the CL final. :sneaky:

    lol
Juventus and Napoli are the only remaining Serie A clubs still alive in Europe.
The winner of Napoli-Arsenal face the winner of Villarreal-Valencia in the Europa semifinals so there may be a path for Barca to regain the Cup but it's dependent on Napoli gaining the Cup and then ousting Arsenal. If that were to happen, at the very least we can hope the Helmond returns to La Liga by the end of the season and stick around over the summer into the start of next season.
