For sure. But people were already saying it's a ballsy move and a challenge as soon as he moved to Juve. Love how Ibra called out that nonsense. Just changing teams is a good thing to the Messi haters
I doubt Ronaldo switched to Italy because he was frustrated of not winning La Liga enough times. More like issues he had at Madrid with the President. Plus he is obviously going after the CL with a different team. Being top scorer in Serie A would be an additional accomplishment. But just winning the title there is indeed meh because most people realize Juve have already won 7 straight. I will give him something though, I didn't think he'd go back to play more as a winger which is what he is doing. I thought he was going to be more of a poacher.
Cristiano Ronaldo: “I think Zlatan is a bit jealous of me to be honest, I went to England and won it all, he failed, I went to Spain and won it all, he failed, now I’m in Italy with this new challenge in the hopes of winning it all, something he once again failed at.” pic.twitter.com/m6ZSfFXWBS— TCR. (@TeamCRonaldo) January 14, 2019 So when Juve were relegated Ibra did what exactly? I got his arse out of there quick time
Mourinho went to Inter who had just won Serie A three times (including 2006 Calciopoli). After guiding them to another Scudetto he led them to Champions League glory in his second season. Job done so he ditched them. Next was Real Madrid who couldn't get past the Champions League Round of 16 for six straight campaigns. He never lifted big ears with them but they broke that Octavos duck at the first attempt which set them off to at least reaching the semifinals ever since. On the flip side, look where he is now.
Atletico Madrid OUSTED from the Copa by Girona but possession of the Helmond remains with Atleti. Helmond Cup update: Atlético Madrid 3-3 Girona (Girona advance on away goals) Next: Saturday 19 January La Liga, Jornada 20 SD Huesca -v- Atlético Madrid
Ugh! That just makes it harder for Barca to get the Helmond Cup back since Atletico will play fewer matches against Spanish opposition before their encounter with Juventus.
So no team outside the top 12 of La Liga reached the QFs of the Copa del Rey - unless Villarreal can win in Cornellà tomorrow. I wonder if Girona would've fought as hard to advance if they had to fly to Miami next week to play Barca...
There are many many great players that played in various league and various teams and winning thropies. CR winning title with Juve would be literally nothing new, in terms of breaking a new ground. Tevez played in 4 different league with 5 different clubs, winning major titles with each of them, including Libertadores and CL.
There's a wiff of hypocrisy in the air, but PSG hadn't actually won a title until Zlatan went there. But yeah... with the players they bought in that same summer that Zlatan went there it was sorta inevitable that they would dominate Ligue 1 within 2 years, if not the very next season.
Milan hadn't won in a while too until he went there, IMO Zlatan has tackled more challenges than Penaldo.
PSG wasn’t much of a challenge . Otherwise Zlatan won leagues in every club. But he was just horrible in CL. I mean ... really bad .
scoring in many meaningless games in liga. thats why he only won two liga with much help from refs. plus he has never scored over 50 non pen goals in season. suarez scored 54 non pen goals in 2015 2016 season. that means how penalties are the part of his life, lol
ibra won scudetto with milan in 2011 is much more impressive than ronaldo gonna win scudetto with juve, something juve has done 7 years in a row.
Continuing my admiration and comments about the BVB youth system: http://www.espn.com/soccer/german-b...ted-scouting-now-theyre-top-of-the-bundesliga
winning by not win in any games, excluding semi final vs wales? pathetic. no wonder why they sucked at world cup. btw your boy didnt play the final yet they managed to win somehow and he took all credits from teammates?
