I don't want him to Liga either, but it would be good to have an actual fighter in your management once.
What are you smoking ? Mourinho was the only calling out refs, UEFA, FIFA, etc ... against Barca ... and Messi.
Didn't Mourinho almost shit his pants when 90 year-old Arsene Wenger came up to him and shoved him? Fighter? He only acts tough when taunting fans or poking at people's eyes from behind when there are dozens of people in-between ready to protect him.
So Ramos elbow claimed another victim yesterday. I thought it was going to get a pass but he is being criticized quite a bit in the media. He sure gets a lot of them "accidental elbows" ...
he's no fighter. he's the guy that sneaks up from behind, pokes you in the eye, and then runs away. not to mention his teams are unbearable to watch.
14 (and 9 months) year kid Fernando Avelar scores a goal in Paraguay for Cerro Porteño vs Olimpia. Not sure I am buying he is that young ...
Even Mourinho admitted that his entire gameplan was to have Mata swing-in crosses for Fellaini to get on the end of. And then they win on an own goal. #planZ #genius Don’t care about Juve, but Valencia are the real losers here.
I honestly dont see a Libertadores winner doing anything in a final against a Champions League winner unless they happen to be an average team like the Chelsea team that won
Bite your tongue! Chelsea only looked average because Corinthians had the Legend-that-would-be in Paulinho.
I remember people bemoaning Diego Costa wasn't signed. He has 0 goals in 8 games. Oh damn, we play Atletico next week ...
that's going back 12 editions when the final was almost guaranteed to be UEFA vs Conmebol Since then making the final let alone winning the final has become tricky
Although the odds are against it, Madrid almost lost to a Japanese team 2 years ago. Actually needed the help from refs to not eject Ramos. I could see it happening this year.
Starting to look as if City’s 100 point season was no one-off. And Chelsea looking more and more like pretenders rather than contenders. Its a 2-team race, could even be argued its a 1-team league atm.
Pep better make a real challenge for the CL this season or else it's going to look really ugly for him.
Home from work and finally watching Boca-River. (I already know the score.) I don't know if I'm in the minority or majority but I absolutely love listening to Mariano Closs announce Argentine futbol. Maybe it's because I'm not fluent in Spanish and cannot understand every single word spoken but when Boca, River or Argentina are playing I prefer listening to him. Although I must admit I was surprised to see that he's only 48. Sounds much older (imo). Anyone know of his popularity within Argentina and how he is viewed by fans? I'm guessing his constant use of "Señoras y Señores" gets on people's nerves (?) I quite like it myself.
mancity 3rd goal vs manu came from 44 passes. it seems man city will dominate premier league again. nothing could stop they now. ucl will be pep real challenge
Yeah, he's a bit polarizing but I like him too. On a related note, how bad was the bombardment of advertising during the superclasico? They literally struggled to show 5 consecutive seconds without some big, distracting piece of advertisement being flashed on the screen! Rumor has it that FOX might be finally losing the rights to the Copa Libertadores. Really hope ESPN picks them up. I mean, FOX didn't even put the first legs of the semifinals on TV!
Just saw Suarez seen trying to recruit his Brazilian star former teammate back to Barca in the pre-game of the Brazil x Uruguay friendly. Was able to lip read what they said to each other. Suarez: Please come back, we really need you. Paulinho: Thanks, but La Liga was too easy for me. I needed a challenge.
