I was out, but they pulled me back in

I don't know what it is we do differently. I obviously play a lot as Assault and the main reason I'm positive there is basically cheating. Using life-2 all the time. I like to flank and sneak up behind the enemy which is a good way to get a couple kills, but mostly its about taking time and finding cover wherever I go so that if I get into a fight I can duck and use life 2. I need to make better use of the helicopter myself - once I do that I think i can be even better. Vehicles on the whole are quite important to kd ratios.

Also on some maps, recon is very useful because you can get 1 or 2 kills sniping people with over half of your lives but you can also kill a vehicle and its driver with the sniper guided missle if you practice and get good with it.

There are also ways to spawn kill. I don't do it often, mostly I try to defend choke points, especially when I'm assault because I can rest and get cover.

Also, playing as support, one of my friends has mastered it. He doesn't go to the front lines. He stays behind a fighting group in cover. As soon as they get hit, he heals them and drops back to cover. If someone is pinned down, he'll lay down a shitload of covering fire, allowing the player to get back to safety.

He's the first person I've seen truly utilize squad tactics - and a bad game for him is 8 kills and 6 deaths.
