Can is very close, he will most likely sign this week, 30M transfer and he will earn 10M per year

You won´t. If Favre stays in place you will yet again "don´t need" another striker. Since you still have the likes of Reus, Hazard and Brandt in place. We saw how well that has been working out...

It still puzzles my mind why Dortmund were searching desperatly for a second striker and as soon as he arrives, get´s rid of the first one. Seems like Brazzo and Zorc completed the same style of education.

I would be sad to see Paco go but I think even in the summer he talked about eventually wanting to return to Spain so maybe he doesn't feel at home here. I wished we found a formation that worked with him (and maybe together with Haaland) because he's someone who could work behind a striker and who activates the wingers around him. But after his great start this season, it was the no (real) striker formation that got us results and saved Favre's job...until it didn't anymore and then Haaland arrived to bail us/Favre out.

From time to time, I watch Youtube highlights of previous games and from the last season and one thing that was visible is how nice he harmonized with Reus. He was involved in several goals for Reus, especially letting the ball pass through him to fool the defense and letting Reus convert from a better angle was a speciality for him. It seems these two were just on the same page.

Inter sold Gabigol to Flamengo for just 17M..... He is only 23, why nobody in Europe didnt want him?
    What's the catch?

The Can move still doesn't make sense to me, especially if he'll be earning 10m. I haven't watched him in a while, but I don't think he's proven himself at Liverpool. He's certainly not in the same rank in defensive midfielders, as Reus is in his position. This transfer has the same feel as the Gotze and Schurrle transfers.

Also losing Paco would suck royally. I hope he can be convinced to stay, if indeed he's pushing to leave. Otherwise, we must get any backup striker. I don't care if it's from a mid-table team, on loan, etc. They should use the Can money for this instead!

Can transfer depends on Paco transfer and Paco transfer depends on Rodrigo transfer...
    Rodrigo Valencia - > Barca
    Paco BvB - > Valencia
    Can Juve - > BvB

Might be bluffing unless Barca want to end the season without a Suarez replacement. As we've seen with the Dembele saga, they may try to get a better deal but in the end they just pay.
It's also hard to believe that we'd need the money for Paco to get Can if he'd really be considered that important for our defense and our season targets. We should still have enough money in the bank for that.

Frickin' go out and buy a CB, instead of this half-a$$ business.. Can will not be happy playing CB eventually.. They're just asking for trouble here.

sorry I agree, unless we are just searching for a CDM then I agree that we need to get a CB. Not trying to "fit" pieces here and there.

Now apparently paco on the move to Villarreal for 23 mils. In regards on can theres few rumors, one says loan deal for 6 months and then buyout at 23 mil, other says we just sign him for 30 mils straight up

According to latest kicker news, it's loan until summer with 23M mandatory option.

Paco off to Villareal for 23M which could climb to 30M with "attainable" bonuses.
