The high press... It's how Venezuela and Chile have given us trouble for years now. We're totally shocked by it. With Atuesta stuffed out and having a bad game on top of that, the team has no cohesion. Alvarado has gotten the ball mroe than anybody and done HORRIBLE with that responsibility. Of course, get the ball to Benedetti and Carrascal and they can make things happen. I think we should take Alvardo or Atuesta out for Andres Balanta ASAP.
The defense is too shaky, Venezuela had their chances at the beginning of the game also. I really don't understand why Reyes doesn't get the spot for Ditta. At least Carrascal managed to save us. Another thing, I really didn't see a single good play play Marquez. Maybe it's time to try another striker instead? Sandoval for example? With his teammate Cetre he may co-op better. we much win this other wise we'll be in deep shit.
Marquez is a great hold up striker. However, if he cannot get the ball, then yeah. Sandoval is a much more lively option.
What a difficult match. Glad that we won These guys could be very stresfull.......Benedetti is a crack with the ball, but he needs to grow up...a lot of inncesary faults, transport when he just needs to shots to the otherside..........similar carrascal....
