durkin really took a clear eyed look at what was holding him back particularly at the u20 world cup and is consciously trying to work on that. a great quality to have and i hope it works out for him in soccer
Happy to hear, but this seems like a huge fee for a small club in a smallish league for a defensive guy who won't move the needle much in terms of upping their level or getting butts in seats.
I mean, I think it will be a big fee for a club such as STVV either way but we don't know what the fee will work out being.
I'm guessing they see him as a means to a higher transfer fee in the future rather than a way to bring fans in.
Incidentally STVV will receive about $2m for the buy option on Wataru Endo, a DM currently on loan at Stuttgart.
