I can't seem to find a review of the keeper's performance but apparently they were at fault for the own-goal.

Hoping this explains the drop in his performance since the beg. of the season. He hasn’t been horrible, but performing that fits with the performance of his team.

At what point do we start getting worried that this will be a chronic thing for him? Maybe it is already? I thought remember him struggling with knee pain during the 2018 playoffs with the Crew also and not looking like himself on the field.

He's a Yank. We should have been worried about it even before it happened.

I wouldn't be worried. Inflammation will go away with rest.

That's not what my doctor said regarding my arthritic ankle. Get better, yes. Go away, no.

the coach said that he played well in the whole 90 outside the OG which he said happens and that he still trusts him. It was his 1BL debut too.

Is it me or do both guys in this pic look less than excited to be there, or to have anything to do with what looks to be a sinking Schiff?

They both do ache like a bitch

Tendonitis is inflammation to the tendon (patellar for Steffen). Its usually caused by repetitive, or minor impacts to the area. It usually can heal fairly fast. Rest, ice, compression, and elevation will do the trick.

Arthritis is inflammation to the joint. Its a long term condition.

    Tendonitis cannot cause arthritis

I guess even doctors (not dr. Phil) are not always precise about the terms they use for inflammation. I totally ruptured my patella tendon 30 some years ago. I was told by my orthopedists that I should expect "arthritis" in the future. I was expecting "arthritis" of my patella tendon. I did not expect to be diagnosed with arthritis of my ankle last fall. :(

Not a doctor (at least the medical kind) but I wonder if the rupture of the tendon would change the alignment of the knee hastening the wearing down of the cartilage, which would be the arthritis.

since many/most people get some arthritis at some point, this was like your doctor telling you: "you can expect your hair to thin and get gray as you get older"!

They are taking a look at him to assess his injury? Or to see if they should bring him there to play?
