If we had a history of plague that would make sense but let's be honest, we have had both full backs out injured on left or right before. Not sure why you need resort to an alien probing Luca's rectum analogy to try and make a reasonable argument seem unreasoned.
I saw no reason to let him go now to play CB’s at FB, more square pegs in round holes, every decent squad has cover in all positions, he had a bad game but IMO he wasn’t as horrible as some have made him out to be, could have easily finished the season and moved on in the summer if ZZ wanted rid of him, didn’t see the need for the rush, more than likely though maybe he himself wanted to get out.
He last played in La Liga in October so the coach doesn't count on him at all. Nacho is a FB who was good enough to replace Carvajal in a CL final. Imo he's a weaklink as a CB especially aerially and pretty solid defensively as a FB. Militao kept Salah quiet playing there last season. Doesn't matter if we think Odri was horrible or not, ZZ doesn't count on him and has defensively sound options if Carva is unavailable.
It never matters what “we” think, we just give opinions, yes, it seems ZZ didn’t count on him, so be it, having “defensively” sound options is not enough for us considering the way we play, if they were, no one would have been questioning Mendy at any point this season, I’m sure ZZ has a plan however, I trust him.
Odri wasn't having any offensive impact either and was a big negative on defense. ZZ lost the patience after dumb red card at Mallorca. And he's rebuild this team by having defensive stability so no surprise that Odri hasn't featured since. Mendy is a stud defensively while Odri hasn't even been average offensively when he had defensive shockers away at Mallorca, Celta etc.
🚨DANI CEBALLOSInforma @aromeroser ➡️Dani Ceballos está hablando con el Real Madrid para que se termine su cesión con el Arsenal y le busquen otro equipo➡️Tiene como objetivo ir a la Euro y en el Arsenal no está disputando los minutos que le desearía. pic.twitter.com/l7ThLC3VXK— Carrusel Deportivo (@carrusel) January 22, 2020 Report says Ceballos is talking with Real Madrid to end his Arsenal loan and find him a new location
That's the problem with loan deals sometimes though. The club is not committed to the player and the player easily gets cast aside by circumstances he can't control.
RM have signed forward Hugo Vellejo from Malaga. He will sign a contract until 2013 and will be loaned to Deportivo for the remainder of the season. Valencia wants Ceballos on loan - Arsenal are willing to let him go. Real Madrid wants assurance from Valencia about his game-time. [@Marca] https://t.co/fwXzwL6ZOC— Infinite Madrid (@InfiniteMadrid) January 23, 2020 We still have to play Valencia one more time in March
"If he's sending us signs, we have to be alert to receiving them"Nacho was asked about MbappeAnd he came back with an interesting answer👀⚪https://t.co/0nMiWdf3Ca pic.twitter.com/Y9Pcoam7iA— MARCA in English 🇺🇸 (@MARCAinENGLISH) January 22, 2020
Give me a list of all the clubs in the world and I'd probably name you two or three that I wouldn't send a RM player to, and Valencia is one of them.
Same as with Odriozola, the player sucks until a team we're afraid of facing requests him then we suddenly would rather ship him to iceland.
Arsenal won't let Ceballos leave, Real Madrid don't want to get involved and that's the current situation. https://t.co/atdVwpRJtr— AS USA (@English_AS) January 23, 2020
Maybe dont want to do business with them? Or maybe we dont believe they will give enough playing time?
