Lmao, absolute meme of a diet. 4 meat meals, barely any carbs, sounds like the typical "How a Hollywood actor" X.Y " put on 69 pounds of muscle to play Superman". You don't need 6 meals, 3 to 5 is more than enough. You don't need to eat 100 % "clean" nor are carbs the enemy.
So happy that we gave Kepa a miss, overrated at the time, positioned as the next De Gea, a golden boy, meh. I don’t know if he’s played well for Spain, but he’s not been great at Chelsea at all.
Absolutely this. Some of these meal plans from the rich & famous look ridiculous and must end up taking over their lives. I have been on 4 meals a day with a general high protein diet for the past 3 years as I lift weights and that is plenty. I also manage to fit a long working day and parenting around it too. Can I have an image of me with meal plan put together to show my heroics?
Sorry if this has been posted before but I read this article a few days ago when the dude was hired. We have heard rumors about this for years. In short, Barcelona recruits no-name coaches. At this club, the coach isn't the boss. He doesn't determine how the team plays. Rather, now that the Cruyffian house style is fading out inside Barca, the team's style of play is largely determined by the players, in particular by Lionel Messi. Messi's low charisma and habitual public silence are deceptive. Inside the changing room, he's a tough, demanding leader with strong views on how football should be played. Barca have managed to keep him at the club, playing brilliantly week in, week out, for 15 years. To do that, successive presidents have more or less handed him the keys. Although Barca won't admit it, Messi has unspoken veto power over most player transfers, coach appointments or major tactical decision. I concluded this based on dozens of conversations with club officials and extensive reading on Barcelona's Messi era. Barca's playing style is determined by Messi, as well as senior teammates such as Sergio Busquets and Gerard Pique, in collaboration with the coach of the moment and his staff. In recent years, Messi has decided that he no longer has the stamina to press opponents and wants to spend most of the game at inside-right rather than further wide. Whoever happens to be Barca coach has to adapt accordingly. The club signed Arturo Vidal to be Messi's legs, the pressing game has been largely abandoned, and the basic strategy has become "just give Messi the ball." It mostly works. Another thing I read that caught my notice and somethings a few posters here have mentioned for a couple of years now, how coaching is becoming less and less significant in the game. Valverde, a little man with a self-effacing grin, told me: "This is a continuous sport in which the coach has barely any influence, or at least much less than in basketball. We only have three substitutions. The game never stops [for timeouts]. So football belongs to the players. For 45 minutes at a time, nonstop, the player takes his own decisions. I have to say that the great players analyse the game better than I do." He quickly corrected himself: "Instead of analysing, I'd say they interpret play. On the field you can't think. You must play." https://www.espn.com/soccer/barcelo...the-players-who-hold-the-powernot-the-manager

Eggs are essential for us parents who want to fart in the car and not roll down the window for our children
Is it me or is Salah trying to solve things himself all the time? In Portuguese we call these players "fominha" is there a proper word in English? Selfish comes the closest I guess.
They missed quite a few. Liverpool have been extremely lucky this season. If it was Zidane/Real Madrid, everyone including our own fans like fierro would be crying daily about how undeserving the title would be.
Atlético just got eliminated in the Copa del Rey by Cultural Leonesa, a team in the Segunda B. My goodness
I noticed that with them, I have watched more prem this season than ever before and I found Liverpool impressive in only a handful of games, usually they won because the opponent lets them off the hook, kinda like Valverde’s Barca.
Yeah I’ve lost count of how many matches they have won in the last 5 or 10 minutes. Incredible consistency but lucky indeed.
