It's a bummer he missed out on the supercup. Not because it was such a huge victory, but because it would have brought him closer to the internal structure and culture.

Does his form and injuries make the Pogba signing concerning.

High ankle sprains are one of the hardest injuries to predict recovery time for, and if you return before your 100%, risk of re-aggravation is apparently quite high.

He better come back fit and firing, the team can't afford to carry him anymore.

Imagine Neymar making his declarations early and Florentino ignoring Zidane's wishes and getting Neymar instead.

I love Hazard but man Neymar is just better.

The player we need back is the Pre-injury Hazard. We don’t have enough time or room for error for the pre and beginning of season Hazard.

Neymar is a cancer, f*ck him!

I’ll take Hazard all day as a total package over Neymar. Their peek football ability is close enough where all negatives Neymar brings isn’t worth it over Hazard.

Neymar and his entire regime/entourage are shady as f*ck the guy is a scumbag.

Hazard in his peak doesn’t compare to Neymar don’t be silly. Neymar is a flipin monster down the left flank.

Hazard at his peak was a 15 and 15 guy

Neymar was much better than that. There really isn't any argument for Hazard here. Let's not be homers

You’re arguing with people who hardly ever watched Hazard play before and are solely basing their opinion of him on this season and goal stats despite him being primarily a playmaker, it’s a waste of time; give them time to actually watch the player for an entire season and they’ll come to their senses.;)

Ive watched hazard many seasons. His best seasons at Chelsea as well

@YOUNGSTARS87 probably watches more players than any of us.

Neymar at his peak was in the group with Criistiano and Messi. Hazard has not played at that level in any season.

Very good player. But there is really no comparison when talking about their peaks

That’s a bunch of nonsense sorry, you can’t have watched Hazard and claim that there is a “huge gap” between him and Neymar, I get arguing that the Brazilian is better ( Very debatable especially over the last couple of years ) but claiming there is a huge gap to me is simply ridiculous, unless the only metric you’re using is goals scored and people who have actually Hazard for a while know that he isn’t primarily a goal scorer, he creates a shit ton of chances for his team, that’s his game.

Also Neymar was never at the level of Messi and CR, even on his best day.

Neymar in 2017/18 had 19 goals & 13 assists in the crappy ass league 1. Last year he had 15 goals & 8 assists. Also relying solely on stats isn’t the best way to assess players.

Not only that Neymar typically is a much more injury prone player than Hazard.

Both players at their peek are devastatingly good and two of the best players in the world. Neymar being slightly better. To insinuate that Neymar is sooo much better than Hazard is a joke. Not only that Neymar is a piece of sh*t and a cancer to any club he joins. No being a homer here, only telling the truth...

    To each his own

The most prolific attacking players ive seen in this decade are

    Messi
    Cristiano
    Suarez
    Neymar
    And now mbappe

Hazard is in the next group aguero, salah, griezmann, benzema, etc.

Well said, Literally no one who’s actually followed both regularly would seriously make this claim but as I said it’s pointless arguing about Hazard here.

No there aren’t, you’re the only one I’ve seen say that there is “huge gap” between the two, I’ve seen others say that Neymar is better, a fair claim to make although not one I agree with it.

Good to use stats of Neymar when he only played till January and was injured for the rest of the year and these stats still compare to Hazards full best season
