Leeeechester's slide is starting ... down 2-1 to Burnley. They are really really fortunate that the 4th place teams (whoever it will be) is truly shit this season. They might just sneak over the line.
How to burn money (fast) Gary Neville: “I saw a statistic two weeks ago that United have the second-highest wage bill in the world.”He’s not wrong, you know @GNev2 #MUFC pic.twitter.com/DdpZPVbjPy— Swiss Ramble (@SwissRamble) January 20, 2020
Watching the Chavs and Arse right now. 80th min. The Chavs started ok and went one up. Then Luiz thinking he'd take one for the team gives up a pen and gets a red card. He actually took one for the other team! He'd have been better trying for a block. The PK was and easier shot. Two goals scored since I started this. One each making it 2-2. The arse have played most of the game with 10 men. It's reall not very good football.
Before this game, that started 45 minutes late. They showed a couple of old video clips one of Lee Dixon taking LeSaux out for a second yellow and a red card. Then one of Le Saux giving Dixon a nice yellow card deliberate kick to the shin. Not much love lost at that time.
Carlo Ancelotti: "The players are really sad. But I said to them I have experience in moments like this. I lost the Champions League final after being 3-0 up, these things can happen sometimes." Don’t feel bad Everton fans. Remember that time Liverpool won their 5th European Cup?
If you've seen the movie, you've all thought it..."dirty rotten Liverpool...they've stolen my precioussss..."
0-2 at old twatford. With only Burnley supporters left in the stadium. Talk of Poccaccino .......... We need a save Oly campaign
The stats are fascinating: United had 71% possession, 5 more shots, and 3 more corners. The scoreline tells the tale about how toothless they are without Rashford.
Burnley and Newcastle, whose supporters have serious fears about being relegated, are now only four points behind Manchester United.
Eve even with Rashford in they've lost the last few games. I still have nightmares about our game with them. A game with our stats that we should have won 5-0 yet could have ended 1-1. Shudder!
It was kind of interesting to watch "the two Robbies" get into a bit of an argument about how bad things actually are at ManU right now... and not that they were getting heated because one of them was saying it wasn't that bad. They were actually arguing about who actually thought it was worse. Schadenfreude is such a guilty pleasure...
Tranmere host ManU today at Prenton Park, and I was just reading about the state of their field: https://www.espn.com/soccer/manches...ed-in-fa-cup-ruined-pitchtired-legsno-problem If the LFC reserves and ladies play their home games there - why doesn’t LFC reach into their deep pockets and put a sustainable field in for them?
Not if it’s a gift. If they would be worried about such a thing - Protect yourself with paperwork. I’m looking at this from the perspective of preventing injuries.
