Spurs away, Man United at home, and Wolves away looked like a really hard block of 3 games on our schedule. Spurs, Man United, and Wolves are some of the most difficult fixtures the league has to offer. However, Liverpool are playing in a different league than everyone else. Even the supposed good teams set up the same way against us. Defend deep and play on the counter attack.

Wolves gave us a good game at Anfield. They have good players and a good manager, but I’m predicting a Liverpool win.

At Anfield typically we should have put it away easily - instead we made it tense and had VAR give us a decision (correctly) - though I still should they have scored we would have turned it up as usually.

Wolves have played a draining midweek fixture against United and needed to pull out all the stops against Southampton. Hopefully that tiredness will show a bit. I expect us to do a touch of rotation in the midfield then wholesale changes for the FA cup game.

One of the most dangerous teams in the prem at the moment. Their danger is hidden under their lack of glamour and big money players. But let's not missunderestimate them.

New word coined by Dubya :)

I think we'll win. The real question is, will we keep up the Joe Gomez clean sheet streak?

When Klopp picks the team for Wolves he will simultaneously be picking the team for Shrewsbury on Sunday. Should be interesting to see which one Fabinho starts. I think Klopp picks the same eleven for Wolves, and then starts Fabinho in the cup.

    Wolves:
    Alisson
    Trent Gomez Virgil Robertson
    Henderson
    Ox Wijnaldum
    Salah Firmino Mane

    Shrewsbury:
    Adrian
    Williams Matip Lovren Larouchi
    Fabinho
    Lallana Jones
    Shaqiri Minamino Origi

Harvey Elliot and Pedro Chilivera will be unlucky to miss out, but hopefully see time off the bench.

Wolves are also paper thin right now. They basically have to play the same starting 11 every game due to injuries. No excuses to not win this one.

100% fine with this, wouldn't mind Milner getting a game at LB in the cup though. Is Larouci even healthy? Thought he was out.

This is really nearly over the hump of difficult fixtures, by the time it gets difficult again after this the league will probably be won.

City are just wading into their really tough 2 month run, and already have dropped points. And they will drop a fair few more, IMO:
@ Blades, Fulham (FAC), United (LC), @ Spurs, West ham, @ Foxes, @ Madrid, Arsenal, @ United, Burnley, Madrid, @ Chelsea, then Liverpool on 4/4. Brutal.

LFC gets another 3 points here and we are really not far off from being able to sensibly rotate in order to make sure our first team is maximally ready for cup fixtures going forward... while I'd love to see an undefeated season, I'd much rather see them realistically taking on the challenge of winning the treble. Never been this close to it in my time as a supporter.

What a season this has been. What a dream.

I'd certainly sacrifice the unbeaten season for a double that includes a CL repeat. That would solidify us as the greatest team above going unbeaten and getting knocked out of the CL in the quarterfinals.

There's no reason we can't do it all but if I had to choose, I would sacrifice the Arsenal/Preston North End badge of honor if it meant we would still win the treble and smash Citeh's points total.

That was a screen shot. But the continuing motion was cool as the bird settled and folded it's wings. I'm sure they'll use it again at the start of their pre game coverage.

I had it on the vague radar that it wasn't gonna be the best coming out of the onerous 7-8 game December, but Jurgen ploughed a straight furrow right through that lot ..... so I was actually optimistic in the days leading up to Spuds.....

Bizarro world we inhabit right now...

I've got nothing going today except this game the preview and the post game show.
    Home alone.

Ringo and I did get our warm up tho. Inc the steep soft sand finish back up to the car. I may just stay on the bench (er couch) today.

I can't see Jurgen underestimating Wolves today. As the season has gone on it seems we get better at pressing and passing. MY biggest concern is lack of finishing. Especially with the amount of dominance we display.
Much as my day seems easy. I do not want to sit watching again with a one goal lead knowing at some time we have to sit back and use control at some time.

That is my concern too...in the last game they should've put three or four past ManU and ended the game before halftime...then there was that 15 minute period to start the second half where LFC threw wave after wave forward, but couldn't finish...

    Score early, score OFTEN!
