DLC must be praying to the dark lords.
New update on Honduran-born Clayvin Zuniga, who is still keen to become a naturalised Salvadoran. Me veo más cerca de la selección de El Salvador que de Honduras EDIT: according to Transfermarkt, he’s played 3 games for Honduras U-20 in the 2011 CONCACAF U-20 Championship. Does this make him ineligible for Selecta?
I am pretty sure they are allowed a one time switch if they haven’t played any official games for the senior team. Could be wrong but even official youth games don’t disqualify the one time switch. The one that is upsetting me is the Gil brothers. According to their dad no one at fesfut has contacted them at all. How could they not be called for our youth team it makes no sense
I might be posting in the wrong place but it can be moved to another thread if it needs to be. Did Selecta Talent ever find out if Abner Felipe is half Salvadoran? There are scout videos of him and it seems his scout has his info on the video too if Selecta Talent is trying to get in touch with him. It seems Denis Pineda was almost teammates with him too. Abner played with Esoril Praia in 2017-2018. His huge problem is he's known to be injured prone, but even with all his injuries he seems to be better than any of the left back options we have right now and he's still really young.
With all this down time. It would be good for the federation to get in touch with players abroad that haven't been on the national team yet too and get paperwork done for them. That way they're ready to travel and play with the national team. Zuniga would be a good addition to the team. The national team is getting more and more options for depth for the team but again there's no effort or support for these players.
Unless the player was already a citizen, they are ineligible to represent that country if they played for another country’s youth team. That’s why all the Salvadoran-Americans who represented USA in youth squads can still switch to El Salvador if they wish, but someone like Adama Traore couldn’t represent Australia when he became naturalised because he had previously represented Ivory Coast at youth level and wasn’t an Aussie at the time. It’s to prevent national teams from being overtaken by Brazilians and Argentinians etc, such as Emerson who illegally represented Qatar when he previously played for Brazil U-20. Not to mention Enrico Hernandez hasn’t been invited to train with the ES U-23 because FESFUT doesn’t want to pay for his flight.
Well professional futbol is continuing again and flight tickets are very low at the moment what's FESFUT excuse now? Lol
I’m not sure if international flights are such a popular idea right now...... let alone if ES and Netherlands even allow it
I wouldn't say now but early purchase for a later date. Seems as if most of the world is aiming to reopen by July. Probably safe to say fall or winter tickets.
Where are you reading that “most of the world is aiming to reopen by July”? The head of International Air Transport Association have recently stated that international travel will not return to normal until 2023. Dunno about USA, El Salvador or Netherlands, but Australia doesn’t want to open up its borders this year to any nation but New Zealand.
I didn't read it but I did hear from TV news. So it could be b.s. just like how a few months ago they said in the U.S. everything would be under control and open by May. Who knows.
The proposed format of 3 teams of 4 for the World Cup Qualifying has officially been rejected and now it appears that Concacaf may move forward with and Octagonal format. At least no matter the situation we are in the final stages of WCQ. What do you guys think would this make it harder for us to qualify or easier?
We are blessed to be in this situation. Panama got royally F**ked though, they are literally one spot behind from Curacao to be in the 8th spot Curacao is rank 80 and Panama rank 81.
Naw Panama should have taken care of business at home against Bermuda they put themselves in that situation. They knew from the get go they needed to sweep that series to even have a chance.
Yeah they should have taken care of business, but no one could have predicted that a Virus would shut down the world. Corona screwed them meanwhile it helped us.
Considering the only method they had was to punch above their weight I doubt they would have made any ground. Now the real victim would be Canada who was doing everything possible to move up.
If true it looks like Canada and Panama are going to be given that lifeline. 1286099061653684225 is not a valid tweet id 1286115249809104896 is not a valid tweet id 1286115582442528768 is not a valid tweet id
