We lost the away fixture in a match that was the beginning of the end for He Who Must Not Be Named. Interesting to see how we play in this one - Sheffield have been a good side this season, and Aubameyang is suspended because the FA is taking money from everyone but Arsenal of a red card awarded by VAR. Interesting for how we see Arteta, especially with Chelsea away on Tuesday. I would like to see a more coherent attack and chances created. Also would like to see Bellerin and Saka play.

    Location: Emirates
Time: 10 AM Eastern/9 AM Central/when it's not dark and the big hand is on the three and the minute hand is on 12 for bears

Saka seems somewhat likely since Kola is touch and go. Bellerin is NOT likely based on what Arteta said yesterday. LT is also iffy, but at least his injury got somewhat defined yesterday as... "something related to his hip". So Guendouzi seems pretty likely, unless Willock gets dusted off ( I assume Dani is just not quite match-ready) And last but not least, the hole created by Auba's suspension... personally I'd rather see Martinelli than Nelson, but this hole is where I'm least clear on what Mikel will do.

p.s. Sadly one person who is sure to be involved from the start is... Mike Dean. Who will be performing in his 500th game. And I chose my words carefully there.

Well, I was going to watch this match live. That is until I just heard about the Women's March happening tomorrow at the same time.

Sorry, Arsenal & football, there are just more important things.

I went to the first one of these in 2017 and I've been (im)patiently waiting for another. And since then I schlepped down to DC in March 2018, feeling like a 1960's activist.

If you feel at all like I do about standing up for human rights, in these challenging times we live in, find a march near you (https://womensmarch.com/home2020), and spread the word!

p.s. to Mods and all. I'm sorry if you take this as inappropriate politicizing of this thread. Like I said, some things are just more important.

A patchwork back line, even by Arsenal standards, so let's hope the front half of the team is on their A game today. Arteta is clearly angling for an offensive-oriented side so let's see if they can operate as such even with PEA. Use the width, create spaces for Pepe and Martinelli to run into, and be quick in pushing the ball forward.

    Up the Gunners!

Jesus - Sheffield's players look like Conference North players. Watch them play us off the park.

10' and Arsenal struggling to retain possession. 2nd or 3rd passes tending toward long balls that aren't finding their targets.

13 minute, the Gunners squander a real chance. Martinelli can't volley the Pepe cross. Big chance

Not sure if it's the players or the formation but Arsenal needs the midfield to play tighter and give the defense better short-pass options. Already 4 giveaways today.

20' and Pepe makes a weaving run to feed Martinelli, who shoots wide.

Arsenal better the past 5 mins. Still lacking in the final third and some of this advanced possession coming at the expense of defenders pushing way high.

The ball cycle through Ozil in the attack, and good things happen. Corner...

    edit: Gunners looking better
