He had to spend when we were close and could have won. He wore everyone out.

But we cannot disregard the damage Ancelotti did and the money he wasted and how poor he left the squad. No midfielders left, not enough central defenders, Lozano for 42 million, Llorente gets 4 million salary. Add to that the lack of a system and fitness of the team.

Did you just judge the ability of a footballer on the pitch by looking at his picture? Damn, and here I thought only 13 years old girls used to freak out over their well-collected pictures of boybands and whatnot.

Demme and Lobotka will add some much needed dynamism and steel to our midfield, unfortunately it’s 5 months too late and the damage has already been done.

    We are clearly downsizing.

so at the end of the season Koulibaly will be gone. Fabian likely too. Mertens and Callejon too.

    Best case will be

    Insigne/Younes - Milik/Llorente - Lozano/NEW

    Zielinski/Elmas - Demme/Lobotka - Allan/AMABRAT

    NEW/Rui - Manolas/NEW - RRHAMANI/Maksimovic - Di Lorenzo/Malcuit

    Meret/Ospina

This is no longer a top team.

I wonder if they'll even play in the next games, though... It is the custi
I think it only appears that way, for we may have been good and all that shit lately, but it certainly had not been expected to such a degree before it happened. We had found a real good mix of players as well as leaders such as Mertens, Koulibaly, Jorginho, or Allan, plus we still had had our captain; furthermore, DL had risked a coach that nobody would have taken and he repaid him with getting a good deal out of the squad. Now the old fox is coaching Juventus thanks to DL. Don't take me wrong, I am happy for him as to his career, but why in hell did it have to be the team of mercenaries, aka Juventus? Most of the players who play for Juve are there for success or their own challenges, not for the club.

Now, our good old guns have rusted and we have to try anew. It is unfortunate that we have been going about it following the stupidest route imaginable, but nobody could have foreseen all of this, except for you, of course. But the rest of as are not omni-(insert all the good qualities). Anyway, I am not too afraid of losing Kalidou, for as we have been shown so many times, maybe we will never be able to replace Beethoven, Tesla, Feynman or Dante, but footballers can always be replaced. With Kalidou's recent form, I think I can find a kid outside my widow that would easily perform the substitutive task. If only my wonderful penis had legs, none should be able to pass until my foreskin turned all gray and creased, my pubic hair wholly disheveled, and my glans would have scored the most beautiful goals. But away from the axiomatic. I really think we should reserve judgment until we have seen what's what, for if you'd be so kind as to recall, we never had the budget of Juve, and we never bought made and great players, we just hit the jackpot.

PS: I'm just teasing you, but srsly...

ADL is not the right owner if we want to win. But Ancelotti decimated the squad, left no midfielders and spent a lot on Lozano and high wages on Llorente. After a year had no concept of a formation or first team, players played everywhere and randomly. Players were not trained to be fit.

All that has already been spoken. It is true, yet still the squad should have done better. The game against Cagliari, for example, was not down to Carlo. It was down to incompetence, and it wasn't the only one. However, I like to see that the owned that has given the best fight to Juve for years is out of the game as soon as he screws up just once, while we do not even know who made which decisions and therefore, where the most culpability lies. Shows you the nature of the fans. However, I couldn't care less about him, but I know one thing quite well: It is easy to criticize every decision when you have to make none of them.

    We need to be realistic.

    1. Gattuso won’t be Napoli coach next season. It is not his fault for where we are but Napoli needs someone tactically clever

    2. The 5 senators need to go and will go. I would like to keep Allan and Mertens but they are old and demotivated

    3. Fabian is mentally not here, Ghoulam and Hysaj want to leave

    4. Meret (benched) and Di Lorenzo (out of position) are being destroyed

    5. Where does this leave us?
    Attack: Lozano, Milik, Llorente
    Midfield: Elmas, Deme, Lobotka, Zielinski
Defense: Manolas, Di Lorenzo, Maksimovic, Rrahmani
    Goal: Meret, Ospina

We will have 150 to 200 million to build a completely new team with a new coach.

Guintoli has been a disaster and will be tasked with it.

I still think Milik is the problem. Which other team in top 4 plays a st that in no way, shape or form makes his teammates better?
Even Atalanta didnt use Muriel at times when he was in top form because he was deemed not to be the best build up station.

Imagine lukaku without the strength and speed.. Yh, that's milik.

To make matters worse Milik is lazy! I mean how dare he be lazy?! He is way too limited to not work for the team

We have the worst striker of the top half teams. I said it last year too. But the problems are not just down to him.

Everyone is underperforming. The difference is that Insigne, Mertens, Allan, Koulibaly, Fabian, Zielinski will always have upside. Callejon, Milik and Llorente won’t. They will not get better. Lozano may slightly improve but I can’t see him be worth half of what we paid for him.

Maybe so, but statistically there are arguments against your hypothesis. Each and every team above or below us has played better football lately, which would have affected any striker. If you meant the apparent skill on the pitch, that has also been proven to be influenced by the overall quality of a given team's game. Therefore you can't exactly objectively judge the matter until we start showing at least sth as a team, whenever that will be...

I am not blaming Milik for where we are. Never have.

I just say he is not a top team striker.

Alex Meret is starting GK today for Napoli. Is this start to showcase him for a transfer or will he be starting in goal from now on?
