They r back Professional football K League returns in South Korea 9 May 2020 (Reuters/Radio New Zealand) "South Korea's K League has kicked off after a two-month delay, giving football fans an idea what the sport will look like in the coronavirus age."https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/sport/416231/professional-football-k-league-returns-in-south-korea Jeonju stadium: back to football now - (img: Paladisious 2016, cc-by-sa) Only very few football leagues in the world are operational at the moment - some in Asian countries (See the AFC forum). But the K-League must be the biggest to return to play, right? What's the situation in Korea now?
LDG, 41 yo, scored the winning goal against Suwon (1-0). Apparently, 36 different countries have acquired the K League's broadcasting rights (while they were just 6 last year)
Thank you Korea! Because of your selfless actions, the world now has a league they can follow. With this in mind, I would like to support the league and find a team. Can someone give me any ideas as to which team I should support? Perhaps there is a thread somewhere which I can't find which explains more about the clubs, histories, fans and the cities they are from. Thanks again.
FC Guapa, here is a team-by-team guide to K-League. https://sport.optus.com.au/articles/os7882/team-by-team-guide-to-the-k-league-who-you-should-support Let us know which team(s) suits your fancy.
Thank you for your reply. I did not choose based on this list, I went and looked at the stadiums, the kits, the fans and the city and my choice is a team from a city I would very much like to visit in the future. Daegu FC I will do a full write up in the near future. WE ARE DAEGU
Yeah, they have a brand new stadium which is pretty cool. They probably have as well the best young players of the country. If my memory serves me, they have 4 players who won the u23 Asian Cup with South Korea. They're one of my favorite teams as well. I think Gangwon has a really interesting team too. Let's not forget the powerhouse Jeonbuk and Ulsan the dark horse.
I was surprised when someone said they were watching the game in a pub in Suwon -- from today, nightclubs and bars are shutting down again in Seoul. Stay safe, folks... https://www.bangkokpost.com/world/1915696/asia-virus-latest-seoul-shuts-bars-and-clubs
As promised, here is my write up: https://allinthegameuk.wordpress.co...ea-a-love-letter-from-football-and-the-world/

Watching these Kleague HL's it's amazing how many to the moon skyball there are in front of goal... some opening or chance, it's off frame skyball or on the ground girly shot that goes wide.
The Match of Round 9 Ulsan vs. Jeonbuk Ulsan Line-up GK Jo Hyunwoo DF Kim, Kihee, Seol Youngwoo, Jeong, Seunghyeon MF Won Dujae, Kim Taehwan, Ko Myungjin, Yoon Bitgaram, Shin Jinho FW Kim Insung, Junio Lee Chungyong is on the bench; it seems like he is not at his full strength yet. Jeonbuk Line-up GK Song Bumkeun DF Kim Jinsoo, Hong Jeongho, Choi Bokyung, Lee Yong MF Lee Seungki, Son Junho, Han Kyowon, Kim Bokyung FW Cho Kyusung, Kunimoto Ulsan better takes advantage of Jeonbuk's weak front earlier in the game. Lee Donggook will sure replace CKS in the second half.
That game against Jeonbuk was horrendous. Lee Keunho was disappointing. They did look better when LCY came on though. Why isn't he playing full 90 every game?
