Please remember that under the BS Terms of Service speculation is expressly prohibited.

Edit: I've been wondering myself if it might be double secret probation.

Interesting indeed. Off the squad (again) and 100% healthy.

well, we all knew his time at chelsea would not be boring!

Is Pulisic denying that he missed the Arsenal game due to an injury?

Or is he just saying that it was minor and that he's now recovered?

Worth noting that it was Chelsea's official website that said he would be unavaialable due to a hamstring injury.

Well, first report said he was held out as precautionary.

I think it’s pretty clear he’s saying he’s been healthy. Judging his twitter, he never tweets at someone like this, so he wanted to ensure we knew something was up with the squad selection.

orrrrrrrr it could be a quirk of the English language. he could be stating now that he is 100% healthy and won't miss any time. If he picked up, say, a twinge or bad cramp in the lead up to the match, he could very well feel 100% now and be ready for the next match.

the other is that Lampard yanked the yank that is performing well in metrics and is salty, clapping back and about to start a war lolol

    These can both be true.

    1) He was held out as a precautionary measure.
    2) He is 100 % fit now. Especially as he is replying to a speculative load of nonsense on " How long will he be out for"....

    Very strange.

I think it's quite clear that CP needs to to score or assist in every game (or every other game) in order to get on the starting 11 or the bench.

The English academy players will always get a slight edge under Lamp. Which is fine, every coach has their favorites and preferences.

CP will just have to worker harder than them, and produced more than them to get get time. CP forced Lamp to start him after his hat trick and and subsequent goals in the next two games, but after a few 'average' games it was CP for Lamp to put CP back on the bench or out of the game.

This tough love is going to make him one heck of a consistent player if he can overcome it.

CHO had an average (above average at best) sub appearance yesterday and they are already raving about his godly talents.

If he scored a goal, they would all exploded and demand he starts every game for the rest of the season.

That's the level of cards that's stacked against CP, he should recognized it bust his ass off every time in training and on the pitch.

I still feel like he's still casually jogging around a bit too much. He should learn a few tricks from Mount and Willian, run around and chase the ball a bit, put in a few tackles here and there. Sometimes perfection is everything.

Seems to me that he was held out as a precaution and with all the matches Lumpy does not want to risk injuries in a long season. And now he is healthy. I guess the game at Brighton will tell fact or fiction.

...except for the fact that he will still be on the bench, either way. He'll be lucky to get 15 minutes.

Agreed. More likely Lampard will have CP spend 90 minutes warming up on the sidelines.

Time for CP to adopt a fake-British accent like Friedel. Might help him get selected.

Kid should just shut his twitter pie hole. The team wants to come out and say something, one should be very cautious about refuting them in public. Nothing good comes of it.

He is seldom on it compared to other Chelsea players who are on it all the time. I don't think he has a problem there.

And you never know - he might have been given the green light to post that comment.

The love for young English players is out of this world. When did England even have a player that's 2x as good as Hazard?

"We need a player that don't have to always stand a player up and play their way in. We need a player that can see space, run to it and score. If CHO can add that to his game, he'd be 10x more effective than Hazard."

Nah....He just needs to play like he does against Burnley every chance he got on the field.

He just need to put up numbers.

If the team purposefully misled the public in order to avoid having to answer the tough question of why their best player or two over the last three months or so has been dropped from the squad then he has every right to say he's healthy. Gaining a reputation for missing games due to injury is far worse for his career than not being selected by a novice manager with an affinity for Englishmen.
