I don't want to insult those who think Horvath is a huge, important player, but 81% of Brugge fans think it is good that Horvath is leaving the club. Not exactly the vote of confidence in his ability that some here would suggest.
Time will tell if they are wrong like I believe (again I’m biased)....if you look at his record since arriving it was strong and he helped them win the league two seasons ago and last season helped them finish 2nd plus delivered better results more clean sheets than Mignolet in CL. Brugge fans were not happy from day one when he replaced Butelle as the number one. Then along came Leko the crook (see past threads). Now Brugge brought in their Belgium hero Mignolet. You could have Neuer as #2 and they would be ok with him leaving. The dynamics he has faced as young keeper are enough to test even the best. Key is he moves on and plays as number 1 and proves himself he is clear on that.
Well he’s too good and valuable to sit on the bench so it makes perfect sense for them to be in favor of him leaving. It doesn’t reflect much on his ability in this particular situation.
Fickle fans. A young GK makes a number of significant in-full-view mistakes and is in-and-out of a team which keeps winning trophies regardless of who's in goal. They've not had the time or the reasons to become invested in him so they're not aware of or interested in the details. "Horvath's had 2-3 seasons and he's never nailed down the starter's jersey. If the money's good, let him go. We'll find others."
The question is: "Does Horvath good in leaving Club Brugge?" So the 81% think it's a good thing for Ethan. Not that the club doesn't want him.
Wouldn't put to much importance on this poll, clickbait website of no importance. Most fans do think Horvath should leave because he has to play. Whether that should happen on loan or by selling is for the club and Ethan himself to decide. I hope he makes the right choice and doesn't jump at any club that is interested. Could be a very important decision for his career. Wouldn't aim to high, go for a club that sees him as no1 for the coming years. Midtjylland sounds like a good move if he has certainty about no1 status. German team intensively scout in the Danish league so his dream move remains a possibility.
Both not performing well, and his distribution might be a problem for top teams, surely in Holland where every team plays from the back. Midtjylland is a better match than these two.
Things are slowly progressing....Brugge mgt is the wild card here as they need to be prepared to let him go knowing that they need to depend on a young backup or scramble to get another backup that knows they are brought in to only be #2. Can’t trust them as they have proven that over and over with Ethan. Next week is key to move things along.
Perhaps so, I just wished for something better than a return to Scandinavia. None of the other top teams in Belgium want him? Nothing from Portugal?
In winter window tough to move to a team in your league that you compete against rarely happens plus who in Belgium has a chance to get to Champions League other than Brugge and they certainly won’t move him to a top 5 team in Belgium.
I just voted yes as well (hit the "ja" button) https://www.voetbal24.be/news/57658...oelman-vertrekt-al-in-januari-bij-club-brugge
Horvath's had a lot of poor luck since Brugge. He should showcase his Champions League performances and the game he had against Italy. I had hoped he might follow Mathew Ryan (ex Brugge keeper who went to Valencia but had injuries and was no.2 but who got a move to Brighton and done well since). He's only 27 I think.
?? Bizot was on the verge of breaking a decades long existing record of clean sheets and candidate for the Orange goalie post. Why would they look for a new first goalie?
