Hasn't Belloti been mediocre for like the past 3 seasons

Atleticos strategy of rehabilitating deformed footballers doesn't seem to work anymore.

Torres, Costa were flops in their return

Good thing he didn't do any of that vs Madrid is the handful of times we've played them. Dude always takes a nap against us. Don't remember if he played vs ManUtd, but those goals vs Montpellier and Nancy don't hit the same when it's all you're doing during the season.

He's on pace to replicate his only good season. For the right price (<35mil) it would be a smart gamble. Not many strikers on the market which can come for that price and make any sort of impact. If I were them I'd be looking at Mariano his bull in a china shop routine would be Costa-esque.

Atleti are linked a bit more to Cavani and honestly it would be a better fit for them in every single way.

He was brilliant in the first leg vs Utd at OT. Honestly, PSG outplayed them in the second leg too. Buffon blunder and penalty cost them. Mbappe tends to be selfish from tight angles when there are forwards waiting for tap ins. That can be costly in tight CL games.

Most of his goals this season have been penalties
His last open play goal was vs Milan in September.

Last weekend he was even dropped to the bench

Mariano IMO will be the better option

It would be a joy to watch Getafe's tough football eliminating the Ajax soyboys.

No one can be that dumb and unaware. I'm beginning to think the people in charge are racist themselves.

I think it's ignorance more than anything, lack of education, lack of understanding the history behind some of the connotations. It's still racist, but it's ignorant rather than hateful.

It is unbelievable what happens in Italy. Fascism remains there in a frightening way.

Ancelotti agrees deal to become Everton coach

Looks like he wants to destroy every legacy he has built or is he that broke?

What use is your legacy when you're dead? The man is 60, he has grandkids. He's probably thinking of providing for them and doing what he loves.

Carlo has no patience. Everton is an underwhelming job given his CV. Even Napoli wasn't all that given their crazy president. Look at Mou who refused several offers and got to replace Poch at Spurs. Carlo could have at least got an Arsenal level job had he been patient. He has earned a lot already and waiting until the summer would have been a smarter move. Who knows, even Atletico job could have been available. They don't mind our ex players so why not a reputed coach?

The response from Serie A and the artist was that it was a depiction three monkeys; a Euo, an African and an Asian monkey showing we all, as humans are monkeys to begin with...thus giving the racists nothing to chant about.

    Yeah, I know...

I really think the campaign is a great one, but not emotionally sensitive. For a campaign about ending racism you focus on being emotionally sensitive first then the artistic message second.

it's actually super stupid and not well thought out. I believe in science thus evolution is my Bible. I am willing to bet that most Italians do not and will only see the monkeys as a relation to Africans and not themselves. All this campaign did was add fuel to an already well-lit fire.

Is the Arsenal job that much bigger than the Everton one? I think the difference is a lot smaller than many think, but the expectations are a lot different. He can basically finish in the top 7 and Everton will keep him around for 5 years.
