Chelsea have major issues that need to be worked out. They need to start playing as a team not 11 individuals.

    This game sucked.

Pathetic... just pathetic. Emerson plays the full 90? What a joke. He is ruining CP right now and Frank can't see it. That last cross out of bounds from Odoi sums it up... just terrible in the final 3rd. Essentially the whole team.

Like I said: 38 minutes without a single pass to the winger in front of him. There is no excuse for that.

I agree he looks tired. I just don't think he's not playing well.

Pretty clear the book is out on Chelsea... Play the low-block and wait for counter-attacking opportunities and set pieces. They can't break down 10 in the box and can't seem to efficiently clear the ball from their own end. Frank is going to look to add at least two attacking players. Just two weeks ago I would have bet CP's place was set at my beloved Chelsea... Now, I am not sure at all. During the CL game it was because he needed a rest... but today? It means that he doesn't think CP can come clutch. That is a problem... because I certainly don't agree.

In an effort to produce goals, Frank is upsetting the balance that creates goals. Too much congestion coupled with selfish play and a lack of creativity is a major problem. Plus, they really need some time to decompress after all those games in the last 3 weeks. Still got a half season to fine tune this team. Let's hope everybody learns from the first half.

I don't either... just think he isn't getting enough opportunities. He is on an island out on the edge (see Emerson) and he isn't getting many crosses to him in the box.

The whole game was a horrible display. Pulisic was a part of it. Pretty much did nothing.

He needed to make changes. Willian and CP weren't getting anything done. I don't think it's a reflection on Frank's opinion of CP overall.

As I've posted on the CHelsea forums, Mount is not fit for the central attacking midfield role.

He lacks the vision and creativity to play this role. Also, he's too selfish. The only thing he look for when he has the ball is taking a shot. That's not what you want from your "creator".

That's poor on Lampard trying to force fit Mount into the starting 11.

I am afraid Mount is a bench option for this team.

It's Kovacic, Kante, and Jorgi in midfield.

Pulisic and Willian on the wings.

Mount can sub for any of them when necessary.

I don't understand these Brits announcers. CHO came in, gave up a ball in his own yard which lead to an amazing scoring opportunity for the opponent, yet they all rave about him like he's the best player on the planet.

The biased for young and hyped English players. I thought these guys knew footbal a bit better than that.

What do you mean? You totally understand them! :)

The real secret is that the English are extremely bad at performance analysis and are just now beginning to look past goals as the only metric they use for evaluation.

Like, the fact that Olivier Giroud was an essential part of the 2018 France attack without contributing any goals is something that they can't really wrap their heads around.

yup..nothing new there....If it wasn't for CP's goals, CHO probably starts every match ahead of him

Saying that, he's 19, but I don't see the huge special talent that they're waving about...Probably the next Danny Welbeck, Alex Iwobi, Chamberlain, Wilshere, Walcott...

All these guys above were once being touted as the British Messi when they were teenagers.

As an Arsenal fan, that post feels like a personal attack. :ROFLMAO:

Not wrong at all though, unfortunately.
