Still dead last. Lost again. And did not play today either. Against Kagawas Zaragoza.

At this rate, I wish he just went back to Japan. Disappointing.

... and his team is last in the league table, and they are 8 points adrift from the safety zone.

Nice assist by Shibasaki, as he helped his team to a 1-0 lead against the league leaders Cadiz.

If they managed to win this match, they will move out of the relegation zone.

... and they won! 4th win in a row for Deportivo to made them move out from the relegation zone provisionally.

This coincided with them changing their head coach, who said that he rates Gaku Shibasaki very highly, and started him in the last couple of matches, when Gaku returned to his full fitness.

Gaku played well both defensively and offensively, in a way that reminded me of his form in the 2018 World Cup.

Let’s hope he will keep improving and maintaining his very good form.

Judging by current highlight, his game continues improving

just in time when the Olympics is near.

Another 90 minutes for him today and 7 straight victories for Deportivo. They are only 6 points away from the play-off places!

Who could see this coming? What a turn around. Even for Gaku.

It's safe to say that the previous manager was pure garbage. Deportivo were extremely underperforming with the players they bought.

    They are in regression again

Shibasaki again not doing well, and he was benched in his team's last match and did not have any playing time.

It was reckless foul which merited a straight red card.

It was a stupid foul, which only can be done by a fool player

He fouled the player near the opponent's penalty box, which was completely needless.

    What a retard Shibasaki is!

Yes, they won, but one has to wonder what will be Shibasaki's future? Will he stay with them if they managed to avoid relegation or will he try to find a new club? Are they happy about Shibasaki's contribution to the team so far? How the answer of last question will influence Shibasaki's future at the club?

I will answer again, as I said I feel he is going home. Maybe thats the best thing. But he will feel like a wasted talent then. But at the end of the day we dont know what the problem is with him. Can just speculate.

Two games left. Can still go down if they dont take enough points.

I think it is worthwhile to try his luck in another European country. Portugal, France, Belgium, and Netherlands are all good options for him.

He is too fragile to play in England, Italy, or Germany
