Our U17 team has been owning every team they've faced. Only Brazil in the other group has been as dominating. I do think that this younger gen can be a promising future for years to come. Of course win this South American games first...
U17 squad qualified for the U17 World Cup. Very promising but their last match against the other powerhouse Brazil so that will decide the winner of the South American qualifiers.
So I forgot about this but the U17 lost after the 80th minute just 1-0 to Brazil who won the tournament. Still very respectable and competitive against Brazil. I have a good feeling about these players for the women's side. Next stop for them is India come October for the U17 women's world cup.
Now the U20 squad qualified for their world cup in Costa Rica. Once again, the youth side for women was second only to Brazil. Our youth teams are very promising and could create something special this year.
y jugando futbol intenso.. parecia ver un partido de una liga top europea... Felicitaciones a las chicas colombianas
Our girls dominating the Copa America but they face Argentina in the semis...I hope home advantage works well for them as it did in the group stage.
Argentina is not so good in women's soccer. I think there's a good chance for them to advance to the final. Also, finishing in the top 3 qualifies them to the WC while the next two spots advance to international playoffs.
Our girls did it with a 1-0 win over Argentina. They face either Brazil (likely) or Paraguay on Saturday for their first ever Copa America final.
Nice goal and kind of robbed a pk these South American womens team have 0 shot power.that’s why us/Canada light them Up when they play
That feeling when you qualify for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, 2024 Olympics and the Copa América Femenina final ❤️🇨🇴 pic.twitter.com/rZtXPE3gTs— FOX Soccer (@FOXSoccer) July 26, 2022

Brazil beats Paraguay 2-0. Looks like our most disliked South American rivals will be challenging for their 8th...jesus christ, 8th? 8th Copa America championship. I didn't realize that it was them winning every Women's Copa America and only Argentina being the other team to win it...once.
I must say that I immensely enjoy this team. I'.ve been following the women's football in Colombia in the past years since the league started, and we have pretty damn good players. Linda Caicedo is phenomenal, Leicy, Usme, Montoya. Brazil is far better than any other team in SA, but Colombia did a great tournament with a 100% record and achieved the main goals: World Cup and Olympic games. Only Brazil can lose from Sunday's final. Today I read that Barcelona met Linda Caicedo's parents in Colombia, and they are one step away from signing her. Massive respect for women's soccer in Colombia. I hope the league will start eventually, unlike the last decision that said it wouldn't be played this year.
I've also noticed that Women's Soccer is getting more and more attention and even people who weren't fans to begin with are starting to like it. I don't see myself interested in leagues but I do hold pride in watching the women representing the nation at things like this, World Cup, and the Olympics so I am genuinely looking forward to seeing this women's side continuing to grow. My little sisters think that it's really cool that they can bring Colombia's first football trophy since 2001.
Would be very hard, the gap from Brazil is huge, but it's just one game and with the home crowd, so who knows. Colombia is the 2nd best in South America, we have a strong squad and the girls won for me before the match. By the way, in July we had all the women's continental tournaments minus Asia. it's amazing and the number (especially in Europe) of viewers is insane, compare to what we used to have.
Womens game is odd because man you have some incredible looking women on some of these teams. Then some look like dudes but don’t play as good. So people watch the mens league that is better. They only care now because they are winning like in the us with the womens team. People like champions I did take the kids to a woman’s league game and it was empty. I only went tickets were free at work and Morgan was going to be at the geme
And once again we lose out to Brazil. Not even as good as this side was, they couldn't even win the Copa America at home.
