... and what a reaction it was? Son, I don’t have enough information about the person you really are, and I don’t like to talk about personal issues related to others, but it seems we have a perfect example of an introvert netizen who thinks he knows everything about everything, however, he ends up proving to others how naïve he is. Son, I first watched Japan NT in action in 1994 (Correct me If I’m wrong, but I think you were just 4-years-old then, and I think you didn’t even know that there is a country called Japan), and I started following them thoroughly since 1996, way before you and others jumped on the bandwagon after Japan’s success at both continental and international level. This is said, I know more about the recent history and about the ups and downs of the Japan NT and Japanese football in general than you. Hence, stop your arrogance and stop thinking about others as naïve and ignorants. As for ups and downs, let me teach you a useful lesson about life son: Everything in life has its own ups and downs. Not just Japan NT or any other football team. Yet, this does not justify bad performances or hailing a coach for mediocre results and performances. This is said, I cannot see how you are reacting to my post in which you thought I’m ridiculing Japan’s journey in the 2019 Asian Cup. As you are clearly adding nothing to the debate, if there is a worthy debate to begin with. in another note, what about the ridiculous sentence your wrote in which you implied that people are setting themselves for disappointment? Son, there is nothing in life without disappointment. Yes, people need to be realistic and not get their expectations way too high, but son come on, we are talking about football! If you think people can’t overcome the disappointment of their favourite team performances/results, how do you think they are going to overcome the disappointments and hardships of their daily lives? Be it career, family, educational, societal, security, health challenges etc. Are you introvert to the extent that you don’t know that there is no personal life challenges, hence you are imagining yourself as a father or mentor figure in this forum to warn people from the disappointment they may get while watching football? People are watching football for fun and entertainment, unless you are a sports writer, journalist, scout, or a coach for example. Let people have fun and healthy discussions without imposing your childish agenda on them. Their life won’t stop because their team lost in a match or failed to qualify to a tournament or progress in a tournament. Most people are not tender like you and will not state that they will stop watching football because of disappointment as you wrote in one of your tweets. Grow up, son.
He is not so good defensively and doesn’t suit the 4-back formation. Even-though it seems that Moriyasu will use 3-back formation this time based on the players he called-up. Sasaki is not good defensively too, but he is included because of his understanding of Moriyasu’s tactics since the time they worked together at Sanfrecce Hiroshima. There might be another reason for Fukumori’s exclusion, which is that Moriyasu might be inclined towards more younger players, yet Sasaki is older than him and still being included. In my humble opinion I think Fukumori should be included as his set-pieces delivery and aerial passes accuracy shall off-set any other perceived disadvantages, and given that the alternative is no one but Sasaki who has done nothing this season compared to Fukumori.
fukumori might not be perfect defensively but this hasn’t stopped Moriyasu repeatedly calling up miura and sasaki. hatannaka may have won the league but yokohama didn’t exactly have a solid defence. fukumori will be 28 years of age next year. same age as nakagawa. he’s only one year older than kenta hashimoto and ryota oshima.

Moriyasu is idiot. It is a tournament for experiments, why he waited until the 72nd minute to make his first sub?
moriyasu is a ********ing clown that's why. half these guys might as well go back to japan tomorrow morning as they're a complete waste of time on the bench.
It'a tournament, the other guys will be fresh if he decides to use them for the next game. There wasn't particularly any need for a change, despite the scoreline, they coasted towards an easy win. Onto the next one.
Do the Chinese always have to play rough against Japan? Seriously asking. What kind of drills they take before playing against any Japanese team? smh.
Well, they obviously cannot do it. I think giving the nature of the opposition, Moriyasu wants to use players more capable of holding themselves against such an extremely physical (brutal) team. Nakagawa and Oshima might get easily injured playing against these Kung-Fu football Chinese, especially Oshima who is injury-prone. I will begin to worry if Moriyasu does not start both Oshima and Nakagawa in any of the forthcoming 2 matches. The major takeaway from this match is that J-Leaguers proved to Moriyasu that they can do the job next March against Myanmar and Mongolia. Even though this Chinese team seems to be China’s B team, but still they are stronger than both Myanmar and Mongolia.
By the way the formation was 3-4-3 or 3-4-2-1, with the team lined-up in this way (from right time left) : Nakamura. Hatanaka - Miura - Sasaki. Ideguchi - Hashimoto. Hashioka - Endo. Suzuki - Morishima. Ueda.
moriyasu's formula for "experimenting": call up a promising local player, given them 10 minutes at best in a low key friendly tournament, ] you must be fun at parties mr obvious.
It may be because the other set of players would be fresh for the next game. Maybe Moriyasu wants to gauge them when they are fresh and in better condition as compared to when they are tired? There are 3 games in total, Moriyasu should most prob be using different line-ups for 1st match and maybe a combination for the last match like in some of the previous EAFF cups.
