I really wish Reyna had seen the field this last weekend. I don't think I have ever seen so many sitters in a single game before. Sancho had two goals and both were on perfect crosses and a relatively open net. Poor Stephan... I think all 5 goals were jail breaks... and at least two were one-on-one.

Reyna is playing for the U19s in the upcoming UEFA youth CL match. The article says he'll be in the central mid-field, where he has been performing exceptionally well.

a lot of people watch a lot of youth matches and probably know better than this humble poster, but this level of play is pretty mediocre looking so far

 

gio really not having much of an impact

 

reyna recovers the ball in midfield, sprints into space, and releases a perfect throughball for moukoko to run onto and finish. nice assist for gio

 

Gio scores, but man he really needs to be playing against adults. That was the slowest developing goal imaginable. He basically ran onto a wormburner of an outside of the foot cross from 10 or 15 yards that was set up nicely just outside of hte penalty area. defense mia
