Chelsea have held talks with the agent of Ousmane Dembelè and are interested in signing the 22-year old. - @NicoSchira pic.twitter.com/zcl3LLdsuV— Simon Phillips (@siphillipssport) December 6, 2019 Chelsea ‘meet with agent of Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele’ as Lampard looks for winger when transfer ban ends https://t.co/zuidMIL5BS— The Sun - Chelsea (@SunChelsea) December 6, 2019
Thanks. From the standpoint of a CP fan I'd rather see him than Sancho with his fitness issues, though again from a Chelsea standpoint I'd worry that unless it's a loan it might be a little like buying a boat sized hole in the water and throwing money in it.
I don't understand the need for either Sancho or Dembele unless you are selling CHO. That said, I would rather keep Willian, sell CHO and buy Sancho or Dembele than what is currently rumored, which is selling Willian, keeping CHO and buying Dembele or Sancho.
I saw on the same Twitter feed the suggestion that Chelsea might go after the kid from RB Salzburg. That's probably a more realistic target than Havertz or Werner.
Exactly. The guy couldn't stay healthy in La Liga, the EPL is going to break all his bones. His attitude and mentality isn't the best either, and from what I've seen from Frankie; I don't think he want those characters on his roster. Did you see the list of fines Frankie put up in the dressing room? Dembele is going to pay all those fines on the first day. This is nothing more than tabloids, I can't imagine Lampy signing off on Dembele.
Good point. It would seem that signing someone with attitude issues would be counter to what Frank wants.
Agreed. I know they just gave CHO a big contract, so not easy to just sell. But from what I've seen so far this season, he hasn't impressed. He wasn't like Sancho last season with BvB who came off the bench and start putting in goals and assists immediately; and earned himself a starting 11 in no time.
he has a 20 mil € release clause this window so everyone will be after him offering large bonuses/wages to beat out other offers I think he goes to Utd
Aw not Mr. Chill. He's been so good with the Foxes (although he's injured now). And I'm sort of rooting for them.
Chelsea need a quality backup striker lest Lamps be tempted to try Pulisic in "False 9" role should Tammy get injured.
Devolved to a Chelsea group.... for the time being. And I can't stand Chelsea, really. But, I love Puli more than I hate Chelsea...so I wade through all this muck. I'll admit it was more entertaining back when Lumpy was a supporter of anti-american terrorists. And the name "Lumpy" can set some folks 'round here off. I hope Puli doesn't start tomorrow after his 8 straight (so I read here) starts in a row in the past weeks. Hopefully he'll be used a sub and be prime for next week CL.
Specially Sancho...If Chelsea get Sancho, they might as well sell CHO or even include him in the dortmund deal that would get Sancho for less than 100M pound. If Pulisic continues his form, CHO won't be playing much since Sancho would be an automatic starter on the right wing. Both Sancho and CHO are 19, so you don't lose much as for potential
He has started 6 in a row and he needs to be starting tomorrow... he is our best creative attacking player. Too many games in a short period of time? Rashford literally starts every game for Man U and usually goes the full 90 AND he pulled duty in the last Intl Window.... He was also at his very best in the Tott game. CP needs to be able to stay on the pitch.
Can either Rashford or Pulisic (or any other attacking player for that matter) maintain peak form playing 90 minutes twice a week indefinitely ?

I thought puli would excel at Chelsea but that he's already played himself into an automatic starter a few months into his career there is so impressive
The starting lineup looks pretty standard now, but the bench less so. I see Ross Barkley is back, after a lengthy injury; no Giroud, no Pedro; Jorginho still the odd-man-out in midfield. There's a decisive CL game v Lille on Tuesday. Who here can interpret the tea leaves?
