Real Madrid Président Florentino Perez Plots to Blow Up Football as We Know it https://t.co/ptcFaqFLEV via @nytimes— tariq panja (@tariqpanja) December 6, 2019
Atrocious and unacceptable. Media should lead by example. Full support for @ASRomaEN and @acmilan on their stance against racism.#BorussiaVerbindet https://t.co/kZ6dLGX23H— Borussia Dortmund (@BlackYellow) December 5, 2019
Good on BVB for speaking out against it. It just blows my mind how a) someone came up with that headline to describe the match, and b) the editor who's in charge gave the green light and said yep, run it. Smh
Meet the 2020 Copa America mascot, chosen to represent all the mischievous dogs that invade pitches in South America. Hard to put into words just how much I love this. pic.twitter.com/qQo3bHbv90— Daniel Edwards 💚 (@DanEdwardsGoal) December 4, 2019

I wanna say: “tone deaf”. In reality, they don’t care. Corriere dello Sport accuses Smalling, Lukaku of ‘lynching’ over ‘Black Friday
⚽🏆 A #Libertadores 2020 já tem 37 times classificados. Os oito representantes do 🇧🇷 estão definidos:✅ @AthleticoPR ✅ @Corinthians ✅ @Flamengo ✅ @Gremio ✅ @SCInternacional ✅ @Palmeiras ✅ @SantosFC ✅ @SaoPauloFC https://t.co/LGRcKEJEYf— CONMEBOL Libertadores (@LibertadoresBR) December 6, 2019 Yup, still waaaaay too many teams from one country in a continental tournament.
That last sentence on his tweet "True racism is in the eye of the beholder". In what world is that not racist?
A curious consequence of Veracruz getting kicked out of Liga MX: Peru's MNT keeper Gallese (who's had himself quite a last couple weeks for non-football-related reasons ) is now in limbo. He was nominally with Alianza Lima on loan from Veracruz; now that the latter basically doesn't exist anymore, he's some sort of free agent. It doesn't sound like it will affect his eligibility to play in the league Final against Binacional...although Alianza's lawyers might want to double-check, since Peruvian football is infamous for results getting overturned on appeal (yes, @SiempreCrema , Alianza are the biggest culprit ).
Still has his tv gig Questo, che poi sarebbe @PinoVaccaro77 , romanista de Tradate, si è presentato pure con la maja de Totti...e poi l'ha pure girata, boh...🤔 Tra poco #InterRoma con noi.. pic.twitter.com/KevjiS4hDg— Gian Luca Rossi (@gianlucarossitv) December 6, 2019
lol at Arsenal Arsenal's Premier League form since David Luiz said they could challenge for the title:LDDLDDL pic.twitter.com/9YPyzvL4V3— ESPN FC (@ESPNFC) December 6, 2019
I’m still surprised that every other FA representatives agreed to giving Brazil and Argentina so many spots and getting barely anything in return. They’ve basically made it a foregone conclusion that one of those two countries will have representative in the final while the other eight have to go through a gauntlet.
