Neither Lucas nor Bale was going to start against Sociedad at the Bernabeu anyway.

Btw how long has it been since Sociedad has had a strong group together? Always liked them since the days of Nihat, Kovacevic, Kalpin (sp?) etc. This team is probably their best since early 2000s.

Ive been lifting for years and thankfully this has never occurred to me. Sounds PAINFUL

Same, I’ve been lifting for a while and haven’t had this happen nor know of others that gym regularly having this happen. Strange and unfortunate injury for Vasquez.

No, then he will miss Valencia. Would be a big miss as well but we need him more against Barca.

 

Gareth Bale with a hamstring injury as well. Will miss Saturday's match against Espanyol and the trip to Brugge also. He will try to be ready for Mestalla and El Clásico.

I think we should try this lineup vs Espanyol.

However, there’s also the other possibility of Isco Jovic Benz which could be intriguing

 

Its probably too late but I'd love to see ZZ experiment with Jovic and Benz up top.

 

I think ZZ has already tried that, not that I see a problem with him trying it again.

 

I don’t think he’s tried it with a 4 man midfield including Isco though

 

Maybe, I’m not as sold on Isco as most seem to be at the moment though, we’ll see
