Messi involved in 12 of their last 15 goals, says enough

That's a typical Barca game TBH. Getting away with a hand ball, obvious second yellow and huge chances conceded, just for Messi to score a trademark Messi goal. He truly is a bizarre player, Barca will have huge problems after his retirement..

    It’ll be 6 Balon d’Ors for him.

His retirement is something that we’ll need to wait for, but most certainly look forward to.

LOL I never did put CR ahead of Messi even when he was a Madrid player, I dont understand how anyone can do that! Messi is the king of LaLiga.

Typical Barca over the last few years, play average football and then Messi pulls a win out of his ass.

I’d be seriously questioning what Simeone is actually bringing if I was a At Madrid fan.

Think he needs a change and they do. Just can’t take them to the next level.

Certainly makes it tough to win the league when they get away with really basic stuff like that

Luckily their over reliance on Messi doesn't work in Europe.

Can't forget to mention Ter segen as well, wihtout him their 3 nil down by the time Messi scores.

Pique didn't even touch him. Wasn't even a foul on that slide

He obstructed his path didn't he? Forced him to make a high jump that eventually "stopped" him. Lahoz ********ed up, he should have either given a foul + yellow or no foul at all if he was convinced it's not.

Lahoz gifted Pique and Vitolo a red each like a coward.

Because they can't score to save their life. Their defense is keeping them anywhere near relevancy this season.

Quite hard to believe that Felix was over 120 mil. Euro heavy. He's still a kid.

I heard some British commentators talk about Emery saying that he can't speak English well, and that caused a problem.

I think he was perfectly capable of saying "damn you guys SUCK" to the team but who knows.

I love how you're commenting on that and not on the fact that Lenglet should have been sent off plus penalty for ATM.
Or how Lahoz straight out pardoned Messi twice for a yellow card? How VAR doesn't even get involved for you guys?

How your players are pathetic divers? I'm genuinely curious how you can like Suarez.

My feed was cutting off so I didn't see Lenglet's supposed PK. I will have to look it up. But Lahoz didn't give 3 or 4 fouls for us that were pretty obvious. He was really bad today all around. But Messi YC twice ? When ? Sounds like you're pushing here. And didn't you guys get away with a PK yesterday ? So please with the VAR ...

Just read that Simeone has never beaten Barca in a domestic competition, winless in 22 games. Dude has a serious inferiority complex.

They said he's only won once in 26 attempts as a coach against them. Absolutely ridiculous stat

I guess they have two wins. Both home wins in CL when they knocked out Barca. Been really awful in Liga and CDR against Barca.

cant wait for Messi to feck of ,tired of this ....decade of the same shit .
Stegen is too good,it would be hard to win the league against a team with the best attacking player in La Liga history and the best goalkeeper in the league

Because we never had a "game changing" player like Messi. Honestly, I think Atletico actually played well, what else could he have done? they attacked, defended well, had some great chances, but Messi said enough is enough and scored! not much you can do against that man.

The main difference between Liverpool and Atleti is that Liverpool came close to winning, then doubled down, invested more and pushed themselves over the edge. Atleti came to the same point, eventually winning the league and failing in the CL (Liverool's League campaign for the league they lost to City was excellent as well) but they sort of kept things more of the same instead of pushing upwards and now they are kind of stagnating going neither up nor down with the peak of the Simeone era being that League title when it could have been so much more. Weird. On one hand Simeone established them as the third force in Spain, on the other hand, they had the opportunity to go on a long prosperous journey.

I kind of wonder if in 10 years we'll be looking at them like the Depor and Valencia teams of the past or if they'll reach the top again.

Honestly eventhough Messi is a thorn in our backside i dont want him to retire.

I rather he move elsewhere and let barca slip down but knowing our luck they will get another talent to help them along.

I mean why couldnt we have found messi or purchased Ronaldhino instead of bloody Beckham.
