Christian is The Prince That Was Promised.

6 goals/6 assists in 16 matches this season. A little more than half of them were starts.

It's crazy how quickly cp has become a must starter for Chelsea. Like LouisianaViking said, 6g/6a in 16 games? That's as legit as it gets. Huge props to puli for always putting himself in scoring positions. Also crazy how Sancho who started off red hot is now coming off the bench against Barcelona in their CL match today. Things can change in weeks with these young elite players

Good news for Chelsea as tammy's injury appears to just be a bad bruise. Obviously Bats isn't good enough to be a starter for a team with their ambitions so hopefully he's back soon.

Personally I want the club to experience success with Pulisic a part of it. Hopefully they can move on into the knockout stages of UCL and continue a push towards UCL qualification in the EPL.

The best part (to me, at least) is that the goals and assists are taking place in otherwise-excellent performances. We’ve all seen players play beautifully and not record a stat, and we’ve all seen players play horribly and then luck their way into a goal. Pulisic is putting in top-quality shifts and filling the stat sheet.

I’ll ecstatically eat my crow and say he’s blowing away my expectations.

As everyone have already stated, the best parts of his games is his ability to always get into dangerous positions to make things happen. Amazing runs behind the defense and into the box. If this team has a guy like Modric or even Eriksen, CP would look 3x more dangerous and threatening.

My only complaints is that on several occasions, I just wish he turned and shoot or run and gun. Wished he had taken a few more shots.

It's going to be really fascinating tracking the careers of Dembele, Pulisic, and Sancho considering the overlap all three had at Dortmund and the seemingly big moves that all three had/Sancho will have.

*yes I know Dembele was gone before Sancho, but you get the point. Pulisic played with both of them at some point.*

Isn't Sancho having a rift with BVB? Maybe that's why he's playing relatively poorly

Pulisic has a pretty good head on his shoulder, he will do pretty well long term.

I feel both Sancho and Dembele will fizzled out quickly, and will be forgotten soon.

Sancho has talent man. His rough patch with Dortmund right now notwithstanding. He just scored against Barcelona as a sub at Nou Camp. And Dembele?

Who knows. Right now he's the clear bottom of the three. Suffers from injuries quite a bit. But he's only 22 and hasn't been in a club situation where he shined (i.e. he was the MAIN guy). He won't get that at Barcelona until Messi retires. Plenty of time to revive his career elsewhere.

Dembele is the most talented of the 3 IMO... or if not the most talented, maybe the most dynamically talented. But how he does will depend on his attitude and the degree to which his club (present or future) is a good fit for him as a player and a person.

Barcelona wasn't a very good move for him.

I don't doubt their talents, they have tremendous talents. It's whether they will have the work ethics, professionalism, and staying off of troubles to be able to sustain a decade plus successful career. Many young raw talents went to waste because of a lack of brain cells and hard work.

Dembele had already been bench/fined more than once for missing practice or arriving late at Barca. When do you ever hear something like that about Pulisic? That's the DIFFERENCE between a guy with a long and successful career vs a guy that disappears quickly.

    Anyone remember Balotelli?

I think they all have strengths and weaknesses which make them fascinating.

Dembele I think has more of an ability to put an entire team talented or not on his back, but struggles to fit into a talented team where he can't see the ball all the time. He also has the worst attitude of the three.

Sancho is just a natural winger. People who have never played with him before know how to play with him. He can slot into any team and show quality. Also, he's the youngest of the three so we can expect further growth.

Pulisic seems to have the hardest time breaking in with a team. He requires more of a connection with players both when receiving and distributing the ball. He can put a team on its back, but in a much different way than a Sancho or a Dembele does.

His movement is "dempsey-esque"...always buzzing around the six-yard box and poaching in goals....His movement is more like a shadow-striker and it balances out Willian who tend to stay out wide on the other flank and never scores....This makes CP role on this team indispensable.

He's the first name on the starting sheet now...Unless Lampard is willing to rotate Willian on the right side, CHO won't see much playing time.

I want CHO to get healthy and play well. Great competition will make this team better, and it will certainly make the players much better; including CP. Lethargy is a deadly sin.

Notice how Willian been looking pretty pedestrian since CHO went out injured?

I noticed on the highlights that they spelled Pulisic with the Croatian accents like Kovacic. Weird.

Yeah, That was noticed here too. Did he somehow register with UEFA using his Croatian passport? Puli has publicly stated his name is Pulisic (pronounced Puh-lih-sick....as in sick soccer player). (Ok, he didn’t say that last bit, but it is sick, not sitch).

He's already doing a lot to improve the rep of Yank players in Europe, I bet. I'm far from home, but still managed to watch in a tiny screen. It's been a good day. :)
