Lumpy is a strange one. He just needed to showup and play a solid defensive match. Pantty, Willian and CP have enough pace to break and Valencia is an eager attacker. but he wants to play open against a team in La Liga built for the wide field, open attacking. Oh well.

Real seeing-eye goal from Kovacic there.

great goal. puli needs to pull the trigger for the shot on some of his runs instead of passing it off. he is able to consistently create open looks at the net

Needs to show his frustration more often ... particularly if that inspires goal-scoring.

Wow, what a goal! They seriously need to read CP's runs a bit better.

The second one should have been a wormburner too. It would have been 2-1. Instead he shot it high so it was easier for the keeper to deal with.

Why does Pulisic take so many touches in the box? Turn and shoot.

it feels like fanboyism but pulisic is their best attacking player and not playing him when he has lots of space is dumb and they still do that a lot

The angle favored the keeper more than the shooter and Kovacic had to first time it. Good chance but I wouldn't call it a bad miss.
